Gentle foaming cleanser
I love K-Beauty products and a partially ordered this because of the cute packaging. I didn’t realize until I received it that it is labeled for face, body, and hair. I’m only using it as a face wash.It’s a foaming cleanser, which is really pleasant to use since it doesn’t drip everywhere. It seems to cleanse well. I’ve been using it in the A.M. and it does a nice job removing my skincare from the night before. It is marketed for dry skin (actually it appears to be marketed for babies, oops) and does not feel stripping, but I did not find it to be especially hydrating either. It says to keep away from the eyes, but it did not burn when I didn’t do that. It rinses off very easily and has a very light, soapy fragrance similar to other cleansers.I had a hard time finding English ingredients, so I posted them in my photos. It is also labeled as vegan and cruelty-free. I also included the cautions and directions for use, some of which are a little confusing, especially if using this as a hair wash. I am going to continue to use this as an A.M. wash, since it feels fresh and clean (and because the little bear makes me smile).

Elleybear dpg daily foaming wash
This is really more like a travel size. This would potentially be a daily wash on a trip. There is no scent to this really and it washes fine and I had no irritation from using it. It does foam up nicely. It is a basic wash and I didn’t feel that it was overly hydrating, but it cleans fine.

Okay
I liked this cleanser in terms of how it worked on my face. It didn’t overly dry out my skin (I have dry skin), which is a common issue for me. And the bottle is cute, and I like the foam aspect. But I marked this product down because it has a pretty strong chemical smell to me. It didn’t smell like something I should put on my face, and the smell lingered a bit. I’m sensitive to smells, though, so it might be okay for other people.Something to note: This is a fairly small bottle, and I’m not sure it’s worth the cost due to that. The product functions fine, but you can buy other products that are just as good and in larger quantities for this same price or less.

Cleanses and hydrates your skin at the same time
Skin type: oily & sensitiveWhile this cleanser is much smaller in volume than what I’m used to, it doesn’t quite matter as a little goes a long way. Just two pumps is enough to clean my face, ears, and neck in one go. There is a slight scent but it is a pleasant one. It is a clean smelling scent. In fact, I’m half-suspecting that the scent isn’t an added fragrance but one of the ingredients used. This foaming wash cleans very gently yet effectively. I did not have to do a pre-cleanse to remove a day of sunscreen and CC cream. I also do not get the tight and dry after-wash feeling that typically accompanies a foaming face wash. In fact, my skin feels soft and hydrated as mentioned in the product listing.Yes, this may be on the expensive side when you consider how much you get for the price you pay ($18.99 at the point of this review), but my skin is taking very well to this face wash, so I would most definitely consider purchasing it once I’m done with this one.

awful smell
I cannot stand the smell of this face wash. To me, it smells like barkeeper’s friend scouring powder that I use to clean my pots and pans. In my mind, that is a smell that shouldn’t be on my face so I can’t stand to use it. I put it straight into the trash after trying to use it twice.

Smells like Windex
Did I get a completely different product from everyone else? I used this foaming facial cleanser and it smelled like I rubbed Windex all over my face! It also didn’t feel like it cleaned my face very well, as my skin did not feel “squeaky clean” after rinsing it off. I had to use my normal facial cleanser afterwards and I could still smell the Windex smell for a while after that. :/ The bottle is also pretty small for something that is supposedly meant to wash face/hair/body, so the value of this seems pretty low to me. I do not plan to use this again.

Feels good but expensive
The things I love about this cleanser is it’s gentle and effective, easy to use because it essentially lathers itself, it rinses clean and leaves my skin feeling fresh and hydrated. My main complaint is regarding the price. $19 for 1.69 ounces isn’t a fantastic value.

Soft Skin
I love how soft my skin feels after using this cleanser. As I have some oily patches on my face, I was a bit worried about how they’d react to this product, but it’s been completely non-irritating and doesn’t make my skin more oily, just better hydrated. It’s so easy to use as it is self-foaming; all you need to do is massage it on and wash. I do wish there was more in the bottle as I’ve been using about 1-2 pumps a day for a little under a week and I’m already about 20% through the bottle. My only issue with it is the cleanser is a bit pungent and strong-smelling. The smell doesn’t linger for too long, but can be slightly overpowering while using it. Otherwise, it’s pretty much the perfect hydrating foam cleanser.
