I discovered compressed towels many years ago in my camping days. They are especially helpful when you need the ability to wash your face but don’t have the space or wherewithal to deal with washcloths that need to be laundered.In their compressed form, these look like every other compressed towel I’ve ever used. Once wet, I was really impressed with the size, texture, and heft of these towels. They are about 8″ square, quite thick, and have a dotted texture that makes them great for face washing. They decompress immediately when soaked and are ready to use. Are they as thick and luxurious as a regular washcloth? No. But for a portable, convenient option they are great.I keep these in my guest bathroom, where I often forget to keep regular washcloths. I use them to wash my face, and it provides a clean that’s almost as good as a regular washcloth. After washing, I try to make good use of the cloth by using for a quick swipe of the sink or wiping spills in other areas. I like that they come in a sealed plastic container, to protect from moisture and store easily on a shelf. I have put a few of these in a small plastic zipper bag to keep in my toiletry bag, as they will come in very handy for travel. I also have a few in a small bag in my car to use for spills, as they are easier to keep than a roll of paper towels which will inevitably get dirty in my car.While they are typically a product that I would consider disposable, they are purported to be biodegradable.The cost of this container of 40 towels is a bit higher in cost than comparable compressed towels, I think they are an OK value if you don’t use them very often.

Super convenient when camping!
This is the coolest idea. I use these when I’nm hiking and camping and they’re so convenient as a portable option to wipe, clean your face, or keep cool. They expand/decompress to a large enough size, and it only takes a little water. When I camped, I brought a smaller water bottle with soap and water for one use, and then used a second disposable compressed towel with just water and it worked like a charm. Love these!

There must be a million uses for these. But, I got these because we work outside during the day, and these are easily thrown into a backpack, however many you think you’ll need, and then you wet them, clean yourself up, and toss them. I have hated carrying my own face cloths from home because they’re reusable and usually go home wet. So, these are such an upgrade to that, as well as being more sanitary. They’re durable, lint-free, and gentle on the skin. I appreciate that they’re plant fiber, because some of the pre-moistened wipes aren’t. They’re a happy middle ground for me between sustainable and disposable.
