Perfect gift for New moms
I recently gifted this baby carrier to my friend who’s about to have a baby,She absolutely loves it..She mentioned how the hip seat provides excellent support, really helping relieve back and shoulder pressure. The padded waistband makes it super comfortable to wear all day, even during long walks or errands. It’s also very practical for everyday use..with handy pockets for small items and a versatile design that fits different situations. What she really appreciates most is how easy it is to put on and how well it distributes the baby’s weight, taking the load off the hips. She was so happy with it that she’s already recommended it to her sister, who has a baby and she’s loving it too! Definitely a great purchase and an ideal gift for any new parent.Highly recommended.

great product!
This Safotad hip seat model is ergonomic and super comfortable for both newborns and toddlers up to 33 lbs. The adjustable waistband provides strong support, distributing weight evenly to reduce back strain, and the large pocket is perfect for essentials like diapers and keys. I was so excited to get this carrier and immediately put it to use—and it did not disappoint! My 2-year-old is very petite, and I was curious to see how it would work for an upcoming theme park visit. It is going to work amazing! The breathable mesh fabric keeps both of us cooler, especially on warm days. The storage pocket is a nice bonus for carrying small essentials like wipes or a pacifier. Overall, a practical and supportive carrier that makes outings much easier.

Great for my 25lb 2.5 year old, better than Beco brand
My 25 lb 2.5 year old toddler broke his leg and was in a cast for a month, so I ordered this and another hip carrier (Beco in grey) to try out. I am 5’2” and weigh 108lb. We tried the Safotad first and my son found it very comfy and it supported his weight great for me. I had to tighten the strap about as far as it can go (on both models), so a lot of extra strap was hanging down that I tucked in to one of the pockets, but it felt great. There is lots of room for someone much larger. Then we tried the Beco brand. I liked the look of the design and the grey color better, and the phone pocket was in a better position for me (with my son on my right hip, for the Safotad I use the somewhat rounded bottle pocket in front of me for my phone and keys for easy access) but immediately my son complained that he didn’t like it. He was adamant that it was uncomfortable. I pressed on the seat area and could really feel the bar inside, which was right under the back of his butt. The bar that makes the Beco carrier uniquely able to collapse- which is a great concept the other carriers don’t have- unfortunately was too uncomfortable for my son. I could totally understand why he didn’t like it. The layer of plastic sheet over the bar is too thin to not have a child feel the hard bar under them, creating an uneven feeling. Also, I think the grippy silicone dots weren’t the most comfortable, either. The Safotad has a smooth seat surface (maybe for young babies the grips of the Beco are better but my 2.5 year old was snug against me in the Safotad and not going to slip off. He didn’t like the uneven feel of the Beco grippy dots, and I did read another review where they said the same thing of their child). When he got back on the Safotad I was worried he would now be put off to a hip carrier altogether after disliking the Beco, but he was happy and said it was cozy. The Safotad felt a little more comfortable for me as well vs. this Beco, and carries a half pound or one pound more of weight according to the specs. It’s been great for his grandmother to use to carry him up and down her stairs for nap when she watches him one day a week at her house. I’ve had the Safotad for a month now and it’s been really convenient. My son is very active, even with the cast, and we hike a lot. So having the Safotad has been a great thing to toss in my backpack on a hike for when he needs a break but I also need some extra support. It feels like it makes him weigh half as much as he does. And it’s a cozy way to carry him, and let him still be involved when I was cooking simple things that I could do sort of one-armed. He just got the cast off a week ago and needs a few weeks to regain strength and start walking normally again, so it’s still very handy. When we have a second baby I might enjoy using the Safotad hip carrier at times when they are younger. I don’t see it replacing a Bjorn or sling wrap, but maybe at a park or fair this would be a nice option to have when a baby is older and likes to alternate crawling and being up and down. It’s great for a toddler under 30lbs who still likes to be (or needs to be, as in our case) carried a lot. This is a great price, same as the Beco, and feels comfy for the kiddos and for me personally. My husband could certainly use it too if he wanted to (but he is super strong and just carries my son without hardship) at 5’10” and 150lb. And it could definitely fit someone bigger. The big zipper pocket compartment is convenient. Really like this overall, a VERY well-spent $30!

this thing has SAVED my back!
This baby carrier is a lifesaver! The hip seat makes it so much more comfortable to carry my baby for longer periods without straining my back. It feels sturdy and supportive, but still lightweight and easy to adjust. The waistband is strong and fits securely, and I really like the large pocket for holding essentials like a phone, pacifier, or small bottle. It works well for both newborns and toddlers, and the ergonomic design keeps my little one comfortable. Plus, the black color is sleek and goes with everything. Great choice for parents who want comfort and convenience.

A Must-Have for Active Parents with Little Ones
**⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5-Star Review: A Must-Have for Active Parents with Little Ones!**I was so excited to get this carrier and immediately put it to use—and it did not disappoint! My 2-year-old is very petite, and I was curious to see how it would work for an upcoming theme park visit. It is going to work amazing! The ergonomic “M” shape support is a game-changer. It keeps my child in a healthy, natural sitting position, which not only looks comfortable but also gives me peace of mind knowing it supports proper hip development. It really reduces the worry of hip dysplasia that can come with poorly designed carriers. The extended waistband fits both me and my partner comfortably (and we are very different in size!). It feels secure and sturdy, and the thickened hip seat helps distribute weight evenly. I didn’t experience any of the back strain that I’ve had with other carriers. Also, the breathable mesh fabric is a lifesaver—especially during hot summer days.Last but definitely not least: the storage pockets are brilliant. The hip seat pocket is spacious enough for diapers and wipes, and the side pockets are perfect for my phone, a pacifier, and even a small bottle. I love not needing to bring an extra bag.All in all, this carrier is incredibly thoughtful, practical, and comfortable, both for my child and for me. Highly recommend for any parent on the go!
