Best post cesarean care purchase!
This is THE BEST!!! I bought this for post cesarean and I would not have lived without it. Best thing I bought to ease my pain. I really wanted one that you’re able to change the ice packs and not have the whole thing be an ice pack that you can’t take out. This was one of the very few options I found online and I gave it a try. It’s so great. I’d use it, fall asleep with the ice pack on and I could get up, go get a new ice pack out of the freezer and rotate it and start relaxing again. Sometimes the pain was pretty severe and when the rotation of Tylenol and ibuprofen were not enough this ice pack definitely took the edge off. It’s perfect size for your freshly cut open abdomen. If you haven’t had a c section before, your entire abdomen will be super sore and swollen afterwards. You will be so happy you have this. It’s easy to use; you just slide the ice pack into the pocket on the inside of the band. It’s amazing price, 100% worth every penny.

No stomach pain when getting up
10/10 recommend for abdomen surgeries. I have had the csections and this help to eliminate the pain from my abdomen contracting its muscles when I would get up or use my core. It’s like have a pillow with pressure there at all times. I wore it for 3 days straight only removed it to shower.

Decent but not great
Bought for my wife post hysterectomy. It’s OK, but not great. The ice pack does not stay cold for very long and the belt itself is somewhat cumbersome to put on especially if you’re trying to do it alone.

I still have few months to go for my schedule c section but as I tried it looks like a very useful on my recovery. I decided to use it as belly support too now that I am still pregnant. It’s really useful during pregnancy. Worth the money. It fits too because it has plenty of adjustment and can fold it when belly is not poking out

Great recovery item!
This was the perfect thing to have after my c-section. It definitely helped my recovery and being able to sit and stand easier without much pain. These ice packs are what makes it. They are flexible even when frozen and feel great on the muscles after surgery. They’ve also been great since recovery, I use them in my little cooler for my breastmilk when we are out and about and need to pump.

Had to add my own extender, I wear a size 20 in pants. With my added extender was very helpful and supportive post ovarian cyst surgery.

While we got this originally to use as a C-Section belly binder, we actually ended up using it more for the heat pack on my back after injuring it. Heat the gel packs in the microwave and pop them into the belt and you have a hands free heat pack. Great product.

This is perfect for use with the hot/cold packs supplied, with a sleeve to slide the pack in. There are two packs so you can be heat or ice one up while the other is being used or alternatively use one pad as a hot pack and the other as a cold pack. This is perfect hands free pain relief to use post partum but also for general period pain as well.The pouch is shaped for the abdomen but you can easily turn it around to press against your back too, your chair or your waist band will push the hot pack against your skin. The material is a comfortable and the band design is clever with a window to feed the band through to velcro onto itself, the whole system sits flat and symmetrical around the waist.The ice/hot pack has a soft touch feel to the material that doesn’t freeze up hard like the plastic ice packs so it feels gentle even directly on the skin (even though you have a pouch to slide it in). You’re probably less likely to get ice burns with this.
