Purchased and pleased for a different reason.
Ok so this review may be a bit odd, as I did not purchase for a human toddler. I actually purchased this for my kittens. I have a kitten that is fascinated with her self cleaning litter box. I have been looking for various “cat toys” to draw her attention elsewhere. The standard interactive cat toys weren’t cutting it. So I had to get creative. This oddly has worked in combination with other things. She is a smart little thing and loves the action and response aspect. This mat has various options that seem to appeal to her such as the animal sounds and the melodies it plays when activated. I like that there is volume control in two forms, so it’s not obnoxiously loud. The size is just right and folds up easily when not in use. I didn’t mind the price as it serves multiple purposes. It draws attention away from the excitement of the rotating litter box, it reduces boredom, and stimulates her mind with the interactiveness. She can channel her inner Beethoven or sit and listen to the King of Rock n Roll melody.If I had purchased this for my kids when they were little, I’m certain they would’ve loved this for the same reasons minus the litter box dilemma.

Buy this if you have children!! This has entertained my baby for hoursssss. It can switch from music note sounds to animal sounds so the fun is endless. The mat is thin and flexible (yet very durable) so it is easy to travel with as well. Great value, fun colors/pictures on the mat, variety of sounds, portable….what more could you want?!

My grandson loves this mat. He wiggles & dances to the music. He’s only 18mths so as he grows I’m sure he’ll be able to use the more advanced features. Good value and a fun time for all.

Fun while it lasted
My granddaughter loves to stomp around on this toy, however it kind of pooped out after a couple of months. Not all the “keys” functioned–only every note worked and it started to “stutter” and make weird noises.
