Thick and strong
Very thick and strong. Had them out in bear country. You could not smell anything coming out from them. Seals great and no leakage. what else could you ask from a zip lock bag.

I got these for travel. I bring cooking spices and food due to a food allergy and need to make this myself or ask for no seasoning and do my own at the table. T last time in traveled with them in a regular ziploc my clothes smelled like garlic, basil, oregano and such haha. So I got these and no smell transfered in the suitcase! When I opened the bag up at our hotel it was so potent inside but no smell outside. I used the other bags to bring shampoo and toiletries in. I like how thick and sturdy they are, don’t easily puncture and they stand up really good. So in the hotel bathroom the bags aren’t just laid flat all over and they would stand erect like a bucket. So it was very useful to store things in the counter in them also. Then when it was time to go home they were still in great shape to transport everything home with no leaks. When I used gallon ziploc bags the bags would be damaged and unusable for the travel home and so was always bringing extra. So I may not use these bags for the full intended purpose of smell but in figure out they can keep the garlic smell in they will keep the liquids from leaking out.

These work great for keeping food odors from penetrating my backpack. Zippers are tough when your hands are cold but if that is what it takes to keep my backpack smelling good then that’s what it takes.

Nice large bags
Received the four bags in a timely manner. These are extremely large and will hold a lot. I got them to hold chips or other snacks in bags, can put a Couple different Large snack bags in one bag. Also, family size cereal. Once you open it, don’t return it to its original box and place one in a large bag. As a couple different cereals are about halfway gone two of them can fit into one bag. besides food, you can store household items, clothing, many other items for traveling or for storage. Heavy duty zippers. The bags also seem very sturdy. Have not put liquid in them, but they do not appear that they would leak as they have thick seams. Also can wash out by hand and prop on something to dry. They are exactly as the picture shows and described well worth the money.

I purchased these oder-proof bags for backpacking when our weather stablizes.In preparation, I have tested them at home with garlic, tunafish, spicy chicken curry, and cheese. Very effective at containing all odors.Each bag has been repeatedly washed and refilled and sealed, with no noticeable odors. The bags are strong and reseal properly. So 4 stars for now, with no complaints.I do believe they will do the job out on thetrail, and will report those results.

It works!
I used a bag for something strong smelling and it worked like a charm! No one could smell anything, not even the dog! It’s easy to seal and use like a ziplock freezer grade bag, but better! It’s about the same size as one of the bigger ziplock bags, so you can fit a decent amount in there. I haven’t tried cleaning and reusing the bags myself, but one of my friend said it was a good bag and was like brand new even after being used once. Unless something changes it’s 5 stars from me! A little expensive but I’d still recommend these if your shipping food or something and want a solid bag that won’t leak or smell and can even be reused!
