Very nourishing
The body butter has a faint pleasant scent. I took a small dab and warmed up it between my palms before rubbing into my skin. The butter is thick but didn’t leave skin feeling greasy or tacky. My skin felt soft and smooth. It didn’t stick to my clothes either.

Feels nice, weird scent
This body butter its nice, but it has a very weird scent to it. When I first opened it, I thought the cream had a very light scent to maybe roses, but when I applied it, I realized it smells strongly like old expire scented lotion, at first I didn’t mind it, but I’m starting to realize the smell lingers on your body for a little while. Besides this, the cream feels very nice, it’s thick but not overly thick. It is not grease at all. It is very easy to apply, and your skin absorbs it quickly, which is great when you have a crying baby waiting for you to hurry. The skin feels nice and hydraded after use. It’s a small tub, but a little lotion goes a long way.Overall, this is very nice body butter, it performs very well, but it has a bad scent. If you can deal with the smell, then I recommend it, but if you are sensitive to smells, I would probably look for a different product.

Funny Smell
I used this body butter a couple times now. I really really love the way it makes my skin feel… BUT I’m not a huge fan of the smell. Its not one I would want to get again just for that reason. With so many pregnant women being iffy with so many smells as it is, I’m not sure if this is great for everyone. Its unfortunate because it truly does feel so good on the skin.

Quality ingredients that my skin loves!
This body butter from Mommy Matters is a lovely nourishing cream that absorbs w/o greasiness. In fact this is more of a fluffy body cream vs a dense butter. If you have really dry skin that prefers a thicker, more intensive moisturizer, this will not be enough for you. For me, this worked great on my more sensitive normal-dry body skin. There’s a soft scent to it because there’s grapefruit peel and vanilla fruit extract in this formulation that I’m thinking is what’s giving it that waft. There’s no actual perfume in this blend though, for those of you allergic to perfumes. Really great list of ingredients and makes my skin feel hydrated, soft and supple!

Great butter but missed the mark on a great smell
This body butter for moms was completely great except for one thing, and that is the smell. When I think of moisturization and body butters, I think of tropical smells and coconuty deep smells, and what I got with this body butter was something that reminded me of Gojo; the stuff that mechanics use to take grease off their hands! Do you know the stuff I’m talking about? At any rate, this is a really good body butter when it comes to moisturization and texture. You can’t go wrong! But I feel like I wouldn’t buy it again simply because it doesn’t smell good enough for me; just my own opinion, for what it’s worth.

Great body butter, but the scent won’t pass the bar with a pregnancy nose
I wanted to like this so much for belly and other wobbly bits that get stretch marks. Moisturizing and sinks into the skin, but the scent is off putting especially with a preggers nose.

Feels Amazing
Although, this is intended for new mothers, I am not and I love it. I cannot stand heavy greasy creams but I need a lot of moisture and nourishment because I have dry skin so I usually gravitate towards water creams. However, this is not a water creams but feels as nice. It is so nourishing and is not heavy at all. I use it on my stomach as well, and can see how this would be nice for a new mother. The ingredients are also excellent.
