Great bread bags!
I really like these bread bags. They have an attractive, clear design on the outside. The zipper closure is easy to get into and out of. For longer term storage, you can roll the top down a few times and then tie the ribbons together to hold it in place.The exterior layer is cotton fabric and the interior layer is covered in beeswax and oil. I’m not sure what material the inner layer is constructed of. Each bag is a good size. I was able to fit two loaves (from a standard loaf pan) into each bag, which is great. I usually make three or more loaves at a time.They’ve done a good job so far of keeping my bread fresh. I kept some out on the counter for a few days and some has been in the freezer in the other bag. They work well.They’re pretty easy to clean, but mainly because the worst that happens is they get crumby. Be sure to only wash with cold water, as hot water (or hot food, sunlight, etc.) will melt the beeswax and cause it to lose its freshness barrier. The construction feels solid, like they will last a long time. I found a few loose threads, but the stitching is good.They are a decent value at a little under thirty dollars. I wouldn’t pay more than that.I have to say, as a Michigan State fan, I don’t love the OHIYO brand name!

A BEE-utiful Bread Bag!
Seriously. I love anything to do with bees, but I have to admit I am not a bread baker! I am, however, a bread CONSUMER. And I am constantly looking for new storage solutions that allow me to keep the breads I love fresh. Since I am usually working on at least TWO loaves – one sweet breakfast bread and one whole grain sandwich bread – which I keep in the fridge (YES, I KNOW!) keeping them fresh is an issue. I also take advantage of bargains and sales and freeze my favorites and this bag seems especially designed for freezing too!I love the quality of both the bag and the cover. I was so pleased to find that the interior seams of the bag are finished and covered! When I went to rinse and air dry the bag, as recommended, it held the water and did not leak a drop! And the leather and velcro closure is clearly going to last. It works well when you roll the bag down to seal and secure your loaf or rolls. And the bottom of the bag is round and a perfect fit for a 7 to 8 inch boule!I am very happy about any product that reduces single-use plastic AND ensures those hard-working ladies out there visiting my flowers have a job! This set made me think about pulling out my mamaw’s dough-making bowl and making a lovely, crusty, whole grain boule!

Very good quality, looks nice too!
This is a great set for fresh bread/making.The bag is thick sturdy and has a good Velcro closure that is easy to close after rolling the top . It is big enough to hold a larger bloomer, 12 inch baguettes or anything in between. It is easy to clean and looks cute with the bee and honeycomb theme.The bowl cover is excellent, I have never used one before and I was really nicely surprised at how easy to use it is. It is a good snug fit and the beeswax gives it a seal so what is in the bowl stays fresh. Again, it is easy to wipe clean and folds up nicely to store in a drawer or just put it inside your mixing bowl for speed.So much better than using single use plastics, thank you OHIYO!

Pricey but nice
These beeswax bread bags are fairly nice but pricey. The materials seem to be a good quality, and they look nice. The inside liners are smooth and well-covered. As noted in the care instructions, you need to take care of these by not putting hot items in them and by washing them in cold water and then letting air dry. While I am not certain, I believe the attached ties on each bag are so you can hang them up easily to air dry. The bags themselves are closed with a zipper. We tested them with some leftover pieces of homemade naan. They seemed to stay fresh for the two days we stored them in the bags, so the bags appear to work. My main gripe is the price. Perhaps I am too cheap, but $30 for this pair of bags is too high for what you get. Otherwise, they seem very nice and of good quality.

Nice bread bags
The quality on these bread bags are very nice with a good size, strings to tie the bag shut and so far they’ve done a good job of keeping bread fresh. The graphics on the bag are OK but would look nicer if it didn’t have “BEESWAX Bread Bag” in giant letters. I know I will need to wash them at some point but for now cleanup is just a matter of shaking the crumbs out of the bag.
