Artistic and Functional – A quality kitchen tool
This is a beautiful piece of wood, cut with intention to be a useful tool for preparing spaghetti pasta and other very long noodles. The wood is rich in color and grain, and so looks great when standing in a container near the stove top. I find the handle to be comfortable, allowing for a steady grip when lifting pasta noodles from the water. The sharp cut edges of the “fingers” aid in gripping the noodles, so they don’t slip away back into the water. I’ve now used it for nearly two years, and my photos are taken today, so you can see that the beautiful look of the wood has lasted many pots of boiling water, and many soapy scrubs in the kitchen sink. I would advise against ever putting wood utensils in the dishwasher. This is very easy to clean by hand.

Excellent kitchen basic
It works well for the job of cooking and serving pasta. Good size, pretty color, easy to hold, good price. Must be hand washed, not for the dishwasher. Because of its shape, I recommend washing immediately after use because dried pasta is difficult to remove.

Great wooden substitute
it is what it looks like and works great. Been trying to get away from plastics. Hopefully this is less toxic. Works well for spaghetti and pastas or grabbing poached eggs out of the water. Very sturdy and withstands multiple washings.

Good noodle spoon if you don’t need it right away!
The spoon seems to be good quality and looks nice, but it did take a month or 2 to arrive. If you’ve never had one, it is kind of tedious to clean, but a great noodle tool.

Looks nice, works nice and seller gave quick replacement
Wife is purging the black plastic-ware due to the health hype. OK with me because that gave me a Christmas idea this year to replace them all with wooden implements. This spaghetti fork was a really nice looking piece but the first one we got had a knot in the spoon part that had started to split. I processed a return through Amazon and they sent a replacement within a couple days. The second one we received looked good and now it’s pasta for supper!

These wooden spaghetti tongs are very well made but there was a black covering all over the tongs. I had to scrub them even before I put them in the dishwasher.
