Great Montessori Toy with Lots of Variety
This 5-in-1 Montessori play kit exceeded my expectations with how many activities are packed into one compact set. The wooden pieces feel smooth, well-sanded, and safe for small hands. My toddler stays engaged longer than with most toys because each activity offers something different—object permanence, fine-motor work, color sorting, and more. I appreciate that the toy encourages independent play and problem-solving instead of flashing lights or loud sounds. The colors are soft and aesthetically pleasing, so it looks nice left out in our play area. It also feels durable and should last through multiple developmental stages. Overall, this is a great value and an excellent choice for anyone looking for Montessori-style learning toys.

⚠️ WARNING– SMALL MAGNETS
Full disclosure: I am a Montessori educator, so I am a bit reluctant when toys say they are “Montessori.”First impressions: This play kit comes with five lids to change the box piece for different activities. For the younger child, one lid is a ball drop. It’s similar to the true Montessori object permancence box. It’s ramp is shorter, which to me feels less appealing for watching the balls roll. The second lid is a shape sorter lid. It has a cylinder, rectangular prism, triangular prism, and a heptahedron (pentagon). The colors are nice and vibrant. The third lid is a carrot dimension match. It’s very similar to something that Lovevery makes, but a lesser quality. The green of the carrots are flimsy and may be pulled off by determined enough hands. The remaining two lids are fishing style games, one with worms and one with fish. They are colorful and enticing. And the rod is fun to manipulate. These by far were my toddler’s favorite activities with this toy.Though the listing and the subsequent pictures, all show that this is not something to be used independently under a certain age, on the box it came in it said 6 plus months. This is absolutely inappropriate for this age group because of the small objects, choking hazards, and small magnets. Magnets. All of the items that come with the box (balls, carrots, shapes, worms, fish) are small enough to be accidentally ingested by a toddler or someone younger. This isn’t a material that I would ever allow out for my child to use without my direct supervision because of that.Overall. Impression: this is a visually appealing toy with its colors and objects to go along with the activities. However, just because the box says Montessori doesn’t mean that it’s actually Montessori. Most Montessori items have a direct aim to help improve the development of the child. This toy does come with a description of each activity and why it’s important for their hand-eye coordination and fine motor development. I can understand parents wanting to have a set that has five things in one, because we’re always looking to have less stuff in our house, so I get it. Other companies who make similar items at a higher quality for a slightly higher price point. This toy does grow with the child, which is a benefit, but because of all of the small objects, the age range actually starts much later than what is on the box and packaging. As a Montessori educator. I would be reluctant to recommend this over other companies versions of this.

Great Montessori toy
This Montessori kit has multiple activities in one, which makes it a great value. I love that it focuses on sensory play, sorting, and hand-eye coordination. The wood pieces are smooth and well-made. My daughter is still young, but she enjoys holding the carrots and watching me demonstrate the activities. I like that she’ll grow into each part of the toy at different stages. It keeps her entertained and curious. The carrot game is especially cute and well-designed. I also love that this toy encourages hands-on learning instead of screen time. It has bright colors but still looks natural and not overly flashy. Cleanup is easy, and the pieces store neatly. I appreciate how Montessori toys help little ones develop real skills. This gives her something educational and fun to do. I can see her using it for a long time. I’m pleased with the purchase overall.Pros: Multiple activities in one, high-quality wood, educational, long-lasting useCons: Supervision needed for small pieces

Mix of activities
This set caught my attention because it’s similar to the classic Montessori object permanence box. However, like many toys labeled “Montessori,” it doesn’t fully follow the approach. Montessori activities usually focus on one single purpose, while this one combines several (it’s a 5-in-1 toy). Still, I like that the different parts can be attached and removed, so it’s not one of those bulky all-in-one cubes. The object permanence box works well, and the other activities are fun too. What doesn’t make much sense to me is that it’s labeled for ages 3 to 8. Object permanence develops much earlier, around 8 months, so waiting until 3 years old seems unnecessary. Maybe it’s because of the small pieces, but they could have simply made them larger.Right now the price is great. I saw it for $9.99, down from $21.99, so for that discount and the number of activities included, I think it’s a good option, especially as a gift or for supervised play with younger toddlers.

Very engaging toy!
My son is 100% obsessed with this. He is 2.5 for reference. It’s a great value for your money, since it’s so many different toys in one. He can’t quite get the different “scenes” installed by himself, so he gets quite frustrated when he wants to change them, I just make sure to help him out! It’s a great quality, as a toddler boy he is pretty rough with it and things get thrown, but nothing has cracked, chipped, or broken. It’s cute, it’s super fun, and he plays with it for at least 15-30 minutes a day, which is a huge win for a toddler toy.

Toddler Must Have
Great Toy!! My toddler LOVES this and could sit for hours doing it. The quality is nice and durable, able to withstand the forces of toddlerhood. I will say that the plates that slide in and out of the tip to create different activities, don’t stay well. They start to slide out as you catch the fish or out in the ball. I feel like there should be some type of ‘lock’ or something to keep them in place. How we, I would definitely say this is a steal!
