Good thermometer
I am am LPN when have a client that requires vital signs every night. Ever since I have used this thermometer, it has been a good thermometer. It’s more accurate than the previous one I had. I like how small it is. I also like there it shows the previous temperature before it’s ready to use again.

I prefer this, trust it.
I prefer this to air temp distance thermometers. 7 Seconds to readout and seems to show small changes. Although did differ by 2 degrees from hospital’s.

I’m an RN. I’ve carried one of these for almost ten years and it finally started to malfunction, so I ordered another. Highly recommend. It’s plus or minus 0.1 degrees from the ludicrously priced thermometers that the hospital provides and fits easily in my right cargo pocket.

Was useless for me
I followed the instructions, locating the temple artery with my fingers, and placing the sensor there. However, on one temple, it would error constantly not finding the artery. On the other temple, it would throw a different error, but after many tries might take a reading. Then the reading was a value that did not seem plausible. If I tried and got a reading a few times, the numbers were always different. I have thin, fine hair so my hair should be less of an impediment than to others with thicker hair. Eventually the battery died and I could not get the cover off at all.

Hard getting back off
Just received this thermometer and when I tried to put the batteries in I absolutely could not get the battery compartment open. I tried for a half hour till my arthritic fingers ached and still couldn’t get it open. However, in reading reviews from a different vendor, someone with the same problem used a rubber jar opener to get his open. I had to lay the thermometer across the jar opener, which was laying on the counter, then using a corner of that jar opener I pressed down on the battery compartment and pushed and finally it opened. A hint for others, the bottom of the thermometer actually is part of the back of the battery compartment and comes off along with the back. I only gave it 3 stars because I have no idea how well it will work or how it will hold up. Fingers crossed, because I really like it.

FINALLY, an accurate and easy to use digital thermometer
This was being used by the home health nurses assisting my husband so I finally asked what brand it was thinking if professional healthcare staff were using it, it must be good. BINGO. I threw out 5 other almost useless digital thermometers and now have one that actually is simple to use and works all the time. Those point-n-shoot ones are notoriously inaccurate and it’s inconvenient to have to place a sheath on oral thermometers. It cleans quickly with an alcohol prep pad. Would buy it again.

Articolo ottimo e preciso.Vorrei dire a coloro che hanno scritto che non è preciso perché con due misurazioni una di seguito all’altra da una lettura diversa: è normale… anche il termometro a mercurio lo fa. Il nostro corpo non ha una temperatura costante durante la giornata ed anche da un minuto all’altro. Quindi che la prima misurazione sia, ad esempio, 36,5°, ,a seconda 36,6°, la terza 36,4° è perfettamente normale.Quindi prima di dire che non funziona o che non è preciso informatevi bene su come funziona la temperatura del corpo umano: non è un corpo inanimato che mantiene la temperatura per un certo periodo.
