Can be used as a regular bag, too.
If you are someone like me and like fanny packs, as well as Sling bags, consider this almost similar but better for parents. It makes it nice to convert this back into a regular bag, then easily converts back into a baby sling. Provides a lot more extra support so we aren’t putting in too much work. Not saying I carry my 9 yr old in this but my 9 yr old weighs 49lbs. So those of us with smaller children, this will work for a longer amount of time due to the weight limit. Let’s be honest, even a 5yr old kids still likes to be carried after a long walk. This eliminates breaking your sides a bit as that weight can start to feel extremely HEAVY. The bag looks really nice too and is durable. It works if your child wants to be carried for awhile during a trip to the store, or the zoo. Allows you to carry your child for awhile. As with anything overtime we still feel the weight if it’s a longer period. Overall, this can still be used long before our children fully outgrow it as a regular bag.

Good for quick trips. No real support or structure.
I’m not really sure what I was expecting, but this wasn’t quite it. Don’t get me wrong, it’s pretty cool and the quality is nice the material feels sturdy and well-made. The only thing is, the seat part doesn’t have any structure, so I had to stuff it with a few diapers to give it some cushion for my little one. It works fine, just not really my favorite. I think it’s great for quick trips or for those clingy “velcro” babies who just want to be held. Definitely helps give your hips a little break though! I say for short trips because it doesn’t really feel super secure for me personally. However like I said its good for quick trips were you have a free hand to support your kiddo because its super easy to just throw on and go. Keep in mind your going to need to keep an arm around them because it doesnt have that added support.

Can’t Figure out How to Use, Instructions Not Clear
This sling is really confusing to try and use. There are sewn in diagrams of how to hold the baby in the sling and we can’t figure out how to do any of them. The picture is my husband’s best attempt. It may be more useful when baby can hold his head up better but the sewn in images show multiple ways I should be able to hold baby in a reclined and head supported position, and I can’t find any way to make any of them work. There were no more instructions included other than the sewn on images. It’s hard to know how this would give weight distribution, support my back or be durable and versatile since we aren’t able to figure out how to use it.

just okay
This hip baby carrier is a practical and comfortable option for parents of newborns through toddlers. The design supports multiple carrying positions, allowing flexibility as your child grows. The waist strap and shoulder support distribute weight evenly, making it easier to carry your baby for longer periods without strain. The material feels soft yet sturdy, providing both comfort and durability. The seat portion is well padded and keeps the baby secure while maintaining a natural sitting position. The buckles and straps are strong and easy to adjust for different body sizes, ensuring a snug, safe fit. It’s lightweight and folds easily for travel or storage, which adds to its convenience. The fabric is breathable and easy to clean, making it suitable for daily use. It’s also designed with small pockets for holding essentials like a pacifier, phone, or wipes. While it may take a few tries to get the adjustments just right, once fitted, it feels stable and supportive. Overall, this hip baby carrier is comfortable, versatile, and well designed for parents who want an ergonomic and easy-to-use carrier from newborn through toddler stages.

Eases back pain
This is really convenient and easy to use. I love that It has a pouch to put things and it zippers. It does not necessarily rest on the shoulder like the image, but it does rest across your shoulder closer to your neck. It does provide support and takes the strain off of your back. There is a mesh backing that goes across the baby’s back to hold baby up while their bum sits on the seat part. It is easy to adjust by just grabbing the strap and pulling it or loosening it. There is no formed shoulder part of the strap like the picture but overall it is convenient and easy to use. After a while it does start to irritate the side of your neck.

Simple design and works well.
This is a very simple and handy way to hold a baby and not let your arms get tired. At first it looks like a hip purse or a crossbody purse, but at closer examination, you see the features that make this unique. The back support is zipped into the back pocket. The back of the “purse” is actually a padded seat! The straps are thick and sturdy. I’m not concerned that they will rip. I like that the buckles are big and sturdy. I feel safe carrying a baby with this shoulder carrier. There are extra zipper pockets for a few diapers and a flat package of wipes. I can see me putting my car keys, a credit card, and some cash for shopping days when I don’t want to take my purse. Overall I would say this item is definitely going to help with arm tiredness. I wouldn’t say that you will be “hands free” with this carrier. I would still keep at least one arm on the baby for support. The packaging is in a simple cardboard box. This would make it easy to wrap for a baby shower gift.
