Do I need a rinse-aid?
Nope! Our tablets include a rinse aid ingredient, so no extra rinse-aid is needed.
Does water type matter with the tablets?
Nope! Our tablets have been tested and proven to perform across varying types of water.
Are conventional dishwasher pods and pacs bad for the environment?
Conventional dishwasher pods and pacs are wrapped in polyvinyl alcohol (PVA)—a plastic film that dissolves, but does not disappear. Instead, these tiny plastic particles persist in our environment as microplastics and nanoplastics.

Checks all boxes, no scent, no plastic and cleans!
I am sensitive to scented products, garbage bags, dryer sheets etc. So I had been looking for something without the plastics and without scent. I read the reviews and I am not disappointed I ran a small load and it wasn’t as clear as I hoped. So I ran it empty with a blueland disk, and the next load was crystal clear, no smell at all. I will be using smaller loads than before it is worth it. Very pleased.

My hormones made me more sensitive to toxic tastes and smells since I’ve been trying to conceive., so I purchased this one as an experiment after doing a search on fragrance-free, non-toxic, and eco-friendly products that also work efficiently. This product works well with our powerful Bosche dishwasher, similar to how good our previous product, Cascade dishwasher detergent pods, does, without the residual flavor like Cascade in the mouth- it cleans well, with occasional partial residues that require touch up work, but this could happen in any detergent, so I’m happy. I actually bought the bigger packager one later. The only drawback is that I wish it was cheaper, or participate in more of Amazon’s promotional events.

My favorite dish wash!
Love blueland! It is non toxic which is amazing, plus it washes by dishes way better than any of the other popular brands! The scented ones are nice and refreshing, not over powering, but my favorite is the non scented ones. Quality is great and a little bit goes a long way! Totally worth the money! The metal container is adorable too 😊 my only complaint would be if you move the container around too much you eventually get powder build up from the tablets that have broken down. But not a deal breaker by any means.

Works for me!
I was hesitant to try these because other reviews mentioned the tablets leave residue, but they work well for me! I use 1 tablet per wash and it gets everything clean without leaving residue. I do pre-rinse my dishes before putting them in the dishwasher. I love that they’re non-toxic and don’t have that annoying plastic film. The only downsides I noticed was an odd smell when I first opened the bag (probably the baking soda?), but that went away after I transferred the tablets into the bin I use for storage. A couple of tablets were broken as well, but that’s expected.

Good but leaves residue
Works well. I like how it’s plastic-free and fragrance-free, but it leaves powdery residue on silicone plates and cups sometimes. That’s something to consider if you’re washing a lot of kids’ dishes.

These clean with no residue!
I have tried everything. The common plastic-wrapped pods do not fully disintegrate in my washer, often leaving more than half the pod undissolved — AND my dishes were never perfectly clean. I tried the detergent sheets, which were a disaster — grime on the plates and an unpleasant smell in the washer. These plastic-free tablets fully dissolve, my plates are clean and my glasses sparkle. Even the inside of the washer smells better. I use two tablets per wash.

Add the rest of lemon after squishing the juice a 1 tab and you’ll get your perfectly cleaned dishes.

Favourite dish soap ever! Will be reordering monthly! It cleans the dishes well, does not have a strong smell and does not stain our stainless dishwasher of leave a residue! This is supposed to be the healthiest dish soap you can purchase!

Really wanted to move to these more eco friendly dishwasher tablets but they’re terrible. They leave residue inside glasses, mugs and bowls. Tried them on different settings and also 2 tablets at a time but same results. Poor product.

Works as good if not better than other human/planet/environment friendly options without having plastic. Thinking about the plastic wrapper melting off and sticking to our dishes was creeping me out so much that I was defaulting to hand washing on many occasions before blueland became available in Canada.

I have tried various non toxic natural cleaning products and not been overly impressed. BUT……this product although quite pricey is definitely worth it – especially when combined with a natural rinse aid ( I use ecozone dry and shine rinse aid). No smears, great cleaning and no nasty ‘plasticky’ after smell on plates and mugs/glasses. Highly recommend. I will be using regularly now and have ditched the unhealthy toxic plastic dishwasher pods I was using .
