Awesome Lip Mask
I’m obsessed with this Body Restore Grass Fed Beef Tallow Lip Mask! From the moment I tried it, I could tell it was something special. The texture is so rich and creamy, it melts right into my lips and leaves them soft, smooth, and deeply hydrated. The Manuka honey and peppermint combo feels soothing and refreshing without being overpowering, and the natural tallow gives it an amazing, long-lasting moisture that no regular balm can match. I’ve been using it as an overnight mask and also during the day when my lips need a little extra love. Its such a lip saver, especially during the cold winter months when my lips usually get dry and chapped. It works so well, but the price is not great
Well, it looks like I am sold on tallow lip balm. I am so terribly prone to dry, cracked lips, especially as the weather starts getting colder, and I swear other chapstick brands only ever make it worse, especially when they are cold and hard, requiring a bit of pressure to apply; that always would cause a cold sore flair-up for me, it wouldn’t prevent cracking, and then I’d be left looking like a vampire with no table manners because my lips would be bleeding all over.But THIS? This tallow lip mask? Oh my gosh, it melts as soon as it touches my lips, so no more pressure to cause flair-ups. And it moisturizes so well! I haven’t had even the slightest sign of cracking nor even drying! The peppermint is faint enough that it doesn’t burn at all (but perhaps almost too faint).My biggest complaint is the price for the amount of lip balm you receive. Holy cow, it’s expensive. For that price, I’d be better off buying just straight beef tallow and whipping up my own lip balm in bulk. And I swear the pictures are misleading, making the jar look way bigger and fuller than what you actually receive.

Probably One of My Favorite Lip Products
Winters in Minnesota take a toll on exposed skin, including lips. Every year, I have to be intentional in using moisturizing products both during the day and at night to keep my lips from being chapped and sore. So I am always on the hunt for good products that work well.The first thing that caught my attention when I tried this mask was how exceptionally lightweight it is. It starts as a cream, but almost instantly feels like an oil, but in a good way. The after photo you see on the product page where it looks like the model is wearing a heavy gloss is exactly what it looks like, but instead of being a heavy, goopy gloss, this is like the thinnest oil you’ve ever experienced. The scent reminds me of key lime pie instead of more orange-y bergamot, but it has no flavor at all. Because this cream is so lightweight, you use a ridiculously small amount. Even though this little jar is tiny, it is going to last a really long time. While it is a little hard to judge how well this will do against winter-battered lips, from what I can tell with using this for the last week, it is going to do a great job.The regular price is $25 USD, but it is on sale for $16 at the time of this review. It might seem a little high, but again you use almost none with each application. If I ever use up this jar, I will absolutely order this again.

This is my first ever tallow product so I wasn’t sure what to expect—but I don’t think it AT ALL resembles any smell or taste reminiscent of a cow, cooked or uncooked 🤔😂It has a very pleasant smell (bergamot and lime) that isn’t overpowering. The texture does feel a bit like solidified grease, but I can tell it’s been “whipped” to have a little fluffier, less oily texture. A little goes a long way.Unlike some lip products that say they’re hydrating but end up leaving your lips feeling dry/chapped/ tight…. This one actually works really nice. 👍🏻 I have a bad habit of picking/biting my lips, & it gets worse when I’m anxious or my lips *are* dry or cracked. I’ve been using it at night & I find that when I wake up, my lips feel “better” or more “healed” than when I use my regular blistex, Eucerin/aquaphor lip repair, or my physicians formula Murumuru butter lip sleep mask.My only qualm is that it says “made is USA with globally sourced materials” but doesn’t try to “advertise” any specific ingredient as being America (for example, the tallow itself) which was a bit disappointing and alludes to the whole product being simply “assembled” in the USA but containing no domestic ingredientsOverall I am pleasantly surprised 🙂 I wish it came in a small tube that I could attach to my keys.

Ce petit pot de baume à lèvres à la menthe poivrée m’a vraiment surpris — dans le bon sens. Dès l’ouverture, l’odeur est celle d’un bonbon à la menthe, douce et rafraîchissante, sans être trop forte. À l’application, on ressent un léger picotement agréable, sans brûlure, qui donne une sensation de fraîcheur immédiate.La texture est particulière : fouettée, presque aérienne, mais elle fond instantanément en une huile fine dès qu’elle touche la peau. Ce n’est pas un baume épais, ni un gloss collant — c’est un soin léger, nourrissant, qui laisse les lèvres brillantes quelques minutes avant de s’absorber complètement. L’effet hydratant est réel, mais pas aussi durable que je l’espérais. Il faut en remettre après quelques heures, surtout en hiver.Le format est compact, parfait pour le sac ou la table de nuit, mais attention : le pot est petit et parfois à moitié rempli, ce qui peut décevoir vu le prix. Heureusement, une micro-dose suffit pour couvrir les lèvres, donc le produit dure longtemps.Côté ingrédients, c’est du simple : suif de bœuf, menthe poivrée et une touche de miel. Je ne m’attendais pas à autant apprécier ce masque à lèvres au suif de bœuf, mais il m’a agréablement surpris. Dès la première application, mes lèvres ont retrouvé une douceur que je n’avais pas ressentie depuis longtemps. La texture est crémeuse, presque mousseuse, et s’étale facilement sans laisser de sensation collante ou trop grasse — ce qui est souvent le cas avec les produits à base de suif.Le parfum de bergamote est subtil et rafraîchissant, juste assez présent pour rendre l’application agréable sans interférer avec le goût des aliments ou devenir envahissant. D’autres membres de la famille, qui détestent les baumes trop parfumés ou trop gras, l’ont aussi adopté sans hésitation.Le format en petit pot est pratique pour la maison, mais un format en bâton ou un petit applicateur aurait été plus hygiénique pour les déplacements. Cela dit, vu la quantité nécessaire à chaque usage (une micro-dose suffit), le produit dure longtemps, ce qui compense son prix un peu élevé.En résumé, c’est un excellent soin pour les lèvres sèches ou abîmées, avec une composition naturelle et efficace. Il hydrate en profondeur, crée une barrière protectrice durable, et laisse les lèvres souples et légèrement brillantes. Un bon choix pour soi ou comme petit cadeau bien pensé.

I love this lip mask! After only 10 minutes of having it on my lips feel completely transformed. They used to feel dry and thin, and even though I used lip balms, the lip balm only sat on top and would just disappear randomly. My lips wouldn’t get hydrated and I would just keep reapplying with no avail. But after one use of this mask, I know I’ll never go back.Beef tallow is amazing for creating a moisture barrier and actually locking water onto the lips. I use it in lots of face creams and I am glad to say it’s just as great for my lips. They are no longer peeling or look lifeless, now my lips have a slight gloss and even look shiny when all the product is gone because it really soaked in. They look glowy and more plump.The quantity is pretty good as well, don’t underestimate it. It’s way more than the average lip balm if you think about it. You only need a very thin layer to cover everything and get those great effects. The formula also smells amazing, it reminds of me Japanese yogurt candy. It’s slightly sweet but not sickening. Totally not what I was expecting, I thought it would just smell like fatty haha.This is also a really great gift for anyone since it’s so convenient. Really glad I gave this a try because it actually restores and softens the skin instead of just putting an uncomfortable layer on product on it. It’s quite lightweight and barely noticeable, and has no bad taste if you accidentally swallow it.Only thing I wish it has was a small applicator since I have to dip my finger inside everytime, which isn’t very sanitary when I want to use it on the go. But I just keep it on my bedside since overnight use lasts for the whole day. I highly recommend it because the natural blend is so effective. Will be repurchasing when I run out!
