Must have for dog owners
Was really back and forth if this product would be worth it or not but finally pulled the trigger and it has been worth every penny. As an owner of two dogs if food hits the floor it has hair on it and is done for, or is it eaten up by the dogs. This has saved so much food. It is super easy to clean and catches almost all of our babies things she tosses out of her chair including cups, teeethers and toys making them less likely to get damaged and easier to pick back up as well. Highly recommend!

Best Baby Product We Got
This is the best baby product we got. It is easy to install and easy to wash. it catches everything our child drops and keeps our floors from a mess at every meal. durable enough to powerwash. our child uses it as a step now to climb up into her seat.

Mess saver
I wasn’t sure how well this was going to work out when first purchased and we had to take apart the highchair to get it on. It’s been a huge blessing though. It’s easy to wipe and clean and catches whatever is chucked over by the baby and has saved my floors. It’s a little expensive but so far it’s been worth it.

Actually Catches All the Food — So Helpful!
This food catcher works so well — it really catches a lot of food! Before using it, I used to put newspapers under the high chair to keep food off the floor, but now cleanup is so much easier. I can even pick up food from the catcher and still use it instead of having to throw it away like when it fell on the floor. It fits perfectly with my high chair, too. The only thing I noticed is that it might have scraped a bit of the wood on my high chair — not sure if it was from the catcher or something else, but it’s worth mentioning.

Expensive but very very useful
Annoyingly expensive for essentially a large piece of plastic that comes pre-cut and with folding instructions, but it’s been a really good investment! My baby drops probably about 75-85% of his food (either accidentally or on purpose) and this catches almost all of that. It’s SO easy to just wipe clean with baby wipes so when the food falls, you can just pick it up and they can try again without wasting food. It’s not so big that you’re constantly bumping into it or reaching far to feed, but it’s wide enough to catch purposefully-dropped-over-the-edge food as well as a lot of the splashed purées and dropped food-covered spoons. It is a bit of a pain to install on the Stokke Tripp trapp just because you have to take the whole chair apart pretty much to get it in the right position so it’s something that isn’t going to be coming on/off easily.Definitely recommend, definitely super useful for containing mess! Just wish it was like $25 tops.

Works Okay, But Way Overpriced and Hard to Install
The CATCHY food catcher does what it’s supposed to—it The CATCHY food catcher does what it’s supposed to—it catches crumbs and spills under the high chair—but honestly, it’s grossly overpriced for what you get. The material is fine, but not worth the premium price tag.Installation was the most frustrating part. You actually have to take apart the Stokke Tripp Trapp to attach it properly, which feels unnecessary and time-consuming, especially for something that should be simple. Once it’s on, it works decently and makes cleanup easier, but for the cost and hassle, I expected a much better design.Good idea, just not worth the price or effort catches crumbs and spills under the high chair but honestly, it’s grossly overpriced for what you get. Absolutely Worth It
Coming back after several months to write this review. If you can swing this purchase, I highly recommend it! It makes clean up so much easier and it’s eliminated all food on the floor since we’ve started using it. It’s easy to install. The only one in our house who hates it is our dog. No more food from the little one, but when we do grab things that have fallen into the Catchy and drop them for our dog, the baby doesn’t see so she’s not tempted to try and do it herself.Even though I’m giving 5 stars, I do want to call out the only CON we’ve experienced: in addition to catching food, it’ll catch your legs as you walk by it if you’re not paying attention and the corners aren’t super smooth. So if you buy it, prepare yourself for some scratches on your legs!

Pricey but worth it!
Bought this for my grand daughter and no regrets, it’s the best accessory for the feeding chair! We balked at the price because it seems so simple and begged the question why so expensive! However after much thought, and months of use now, I asked myself how would I take the time to find the materials and tools to make my own as beautifully made and fitting as this? Before we were just using a towel underneath the chair, eh still a lot to deal with.Just buy this, you’ll forget about the cost after a month or two. After a few months of use , this food catch tray has made life so much easier for my daughter, clean up is much easier and more contained. Well worth the price!

This was a lifesaver during the first months of solids with my son! Save your floor and gives you time if you have a dog to retrieve the food before it eats it. It works really well until your child learns how to throw food far enough to miss the catcher… but that takes a couple of months, and by then the mess is much more manageable! I would buy this for every new parent I know!!!

If you’re on the fence about getting the Catchy, then I urge you to just go ahead and make the purchase. We’ve been using it for a week and it has already saved us a lot of food and cleaning. Food caught in the Catchy can be picked up and put back onto baby’s plate. It’s much easier to wipe clean than the floor – especially when it comes to cleaning up those tiny little bits of food.
