Well stocked First Aid Kit
We purchased this First Aid Kit to have in the Resource Center of our local Computer Club, where I volunteer. We did a significant update of the space at the beginning of this year (2025) and it was recommended to have a FAK on site. It sits on an easily accessible shelf so all can use if needed.

Poor quality
First of all, this kit is quite expensive for the number of first aid items it offers. The items themselves are of concern. They are quite poor quality. I am not sure if they have been sitting there for a while before shipping but the few bandaids I tried did not have strong adhesive. They came off within minutes. I have owned another kit that contain Firstar first aid products and did not have this issue. So, my guess is that this one is one-off. However, that should not be the case with any medical items.

Good selection of first aid supplies, case may have limited lifespan
I was somewhat confused when the BrightCare First Aid Kit arrived. I thought I was receiving a metal case that could be attached to the wall with a magnetic strip. I’m not sure where that misunderstanding originated. That being said, this is a nice First Aid kit, and there are many things I really like about it.This kit has a good collection of supplies needed for multiple emergency scenarios. It’s much more than a few Band-Aids and rolls of gauze tossed in a box. While it does have a variety of bandage types, it also contains such things as burn treatments, tourniquet, eye patch, emergency blanket, and even an ice pack. The tools to use the supplies are also included: tweezers, gloves, scissors, etc. The thing I was most pleased with though was an instruction sheet telling how to properly address various situations. Even if these are things you know, your mind can go blank in a moment of trauma. There are a lot of items (130), but they all nestle down nicely in this compact case. While I was expecting a metal case, I don’t mind that it’s plastic, I wouldn’t deduct a star for that. However, I don’t think the case is designed that well. The latches are just plastic tabs that clamp over the corresponding raised portion and they don’t look that durable. In time these will most likely snap off where the plastic bends. A sturdier latch, most likely a metal one, could have been used on the plastic case. Another option would have been to use a sliding latch. That wouldn’t have required a different material, nor would it have been as likely to succumb to breaking with repeated use. This would have provided longer life. Hardware is also included in case you want to mount it on the wall. I considered placing this in the garage, and I’d use the mounting hardware if that’s where I decide to keep this, but I’ll most likely place this in the car or with our camping supplies instead. Overall I’m pleased with the kit, I just don’t expect the latch to last.****About me: Integrity is very important to me. Reviews I’ve posted will be from items I’ve had direct contact with. These are my honest opinions. I will not post a review for a product I have not had personal contact with.

Has quite a few more items than your standard first aid kit, and it’s mountable
This first aid kid comes with a good mix of items you may need in an emergency. The contents are listed on the front. I checked to make sure they were all there, and sure enough they were. I also opened one of the spot bandages to check for quality. It seems to be made well, with good adhesive. They are made of a woven fabric material and a bit darker than average in skin tone. All of the components are individually wrapped. It comes with mounting hardware and a folded emergency guidance card, which explains what to do in a few different types of emergencies (such as with bleeding, burns, wounds, and more).The box that holds everything is approximately 4.25” x 8” x 2.75” on the inside and takes up about .25” to .75” more space on the outside. If you have just over a 7” x 9” x 3” (including the handle) spot on the wall for this, it should be able to fit . The handle contains the holes for the hardware. If you choose not to hang the kit or use the handle, the handle can be snapped into place against the kit so it’s not in the way. I like this feature! It also has small tabs with holes on the base and top so that you can put a small lock on it, or tie it together so it won’t accidentally open. I doubt that it would, unless there was a good amount of force. The closures snap pretty tight and keep the lid snuggly shut.I think this first aid kit is a step above a very basic kit. It contains quite a few more items than the standard first aid kit. You can add a few of your own items, and replace items as needed. I love that it can be hung on the wall. So far I’m happy with it. I always like to be prepared in an emergency and this kit has items that really would come in handy if there were to be one (hoping not!)

Unimpressive starter kit
Not an awesome starter first aid kit; perhaps a bit below average for the price. Every item in this kit seems substandard – the tape doesn’t work well, the bandages aren’t durable and the organization inside leaves a bit to be desired. For the price, I’d recommend buying some higher quality items to get started out, and worry about a kit case later. You could get a much better supply of first aid items with the do-it-yourself approach.

Excellent first aid kit
Got this for my kitchen. You can never have enough first aid. This kit has everything you need and in a very convenient case. Great value, and great to use for travel!

This emergency starter kit seems to be cheap, the quality for most of the items is poor, the bandages, the tape didn’t even stay on. and for this quality this kit is so overpriced. I definitely would not recommend it.

Nice hardcase first aid kit
This Brightcare first aid kit comes in a hard plastic case and includes mounting hardware for a wall. It’s a nice collection of first aid items, and it is nice to have in the house, car, or garage where injuries might occur. Hopefully, I’ll never have to use it, but it’s granted me some peace of mind in case of an emergency.
