Love this product
I absolutely love this drying mat. It is made of high quality stone, and rolls up for easy storage. Con: It does tend to stain easily; however, if you spray a bleach-water concoction on it, the stains come right out. No scrubbing required.

UPDATE: I really wanted to like this item, but again see picture #1 for the first time and picture #2 for the second try. It stains so easily and the stains just do not want to come off. I am a very OCD kind of person that loves clean looks, so this just is not going to work for me. I am going with a different brand with higher reviews that also offers darker selections.I love the concept and appearance of this drying rack. However, I had to return the first one because it got stained and I couldn’t remove the stain with the provided sandpaper. I’m giving this product another try because I like it that much. I hope this time will be better. I highly recommend using it only for drying dishes to prevent any potential staining.

sturdy and handsome
my niece had one of these placed on her kitchen countertop tucked in next to her sink – and I loved it. So; ordered one for our home – really a handsome bit of genius for drying off those hand washed items – only two cautions to anyone thinking about purchasing – #1 storage when not in use is bulky – it rolls into a large shape and it can be challenging to find a spot in the kitchen cupboards. My niece BTW leaves hers out all the time – #2 staining is a real issue – I accidentally placed a poorly rinsed cup that had coffee – and it stained the tiles and pretty impossible to get out as it is made of a very porous material. So; lesson learned….otherwise it is a nice addition – and magically the water is absorbed into the mat

Pretty until used
Stains easily, difficult to clean. Takes up space and is awkward to store. Water pools between slats, so while the stone dries quickly, water accumulates and makes a mess later. For price, not as functional as I’d hoped.

meh. water gets on my countertop and it stains
easy to use and foldable, but while this absorbs water and dries fast, water gets underneath it and just sits there on my countertop so i have to lift it up and wash the product and my counter every day or so to keep the water from sitting stagnantalso stains realllly easy and the stain doesn’t go away

Impressive and functional
This highly functional stone drying mat works well. and is aesthetically pleasing on the counter. I previously used a cloth drying mat but over time, and after many washes, it just doesn’t look like anything you would want to lay clean dishes on anymore. This is also better than a cloth mat because there is “breathing room” so the water does not get trapped inside glasses. This mat really absorbs the water that has dripped from the dishes, so there is no mess on the countertop. Please note that the stone does not fold flat for storage so I have mine stored as is in a drawer.
