Heaven
These are better than the new ones. Thicker. Definitely soothe and help heal. Heaven out of the freezer

Wish I knew about them with my first
A little history, my kiddos have tongue ties which automatically makes nursing that much more painful. It hurts regardless, but those ties make it worse. These were a lifesaver with my second child. Not only did they seem to help with managing engorgement discomfort but holy cow those sore nips were sure appreciative of some care. You do have to wash before nursing BUT that was no issue given how nice these were. They saved me from chaffing those first few days, kept my scabbing to a minimum, and overall just kept things so much better. There’s very few things I decide to recommend to people but this is great.

Comfort when you need it the most
These are amazing at helping to heal cracked nipples and just protecting your nipples from everything. In the first few weeks of nursing, before you’ve toughened up (especially if your little one had a tongue tie or lip tie that was caught later) these are everything. I’d hate shower water hitting my nipples or drying off and my towel grazing past or just some of even my softest clothing. Put these on and you are protected. However, you do need to wash your nipples once you take these off. I suggest microfiber baby wash clothes and baby wash/shampoo. Then nurse and reapply these gels. Or alternate with nipple cream (MotherLove!) You can reuse the gels for 24 hours (maybe longer if you keep them moist). If you are hurting this bad, I’d also suggest seeking help from a lactation consultant or dentist that specializes in tongue ties. In the hospital they clipped my sons and said that was all. 2-3 weeks of toe-curling pain and I got a second opinion. He had a deeper tongue tie that had to be cauterized by a dentist. It was like magic. In a few days no more pain. Don’t wait to get a second opinion bc then your little one has to relearn to use their tongue. Follow your instincts!

Good
These are nice. They feel nice and seem to work well. The only downside is that they are hard to keep fresh when you’re constantly removing them to nurse or pump. It seems like such a waste to only use for a little bit.

Best investment if your breastfeeding or pumping
This is a must have if you are breastfeeding or pumping. It soothes great and I prefer this instead of nipple cream. I use this all day cause it adds comfort between your nipple and your clothing. The friction of clothes or bra against your nipple is so uncomfortable. I use the pads more than a few days as long as you take care of it.

Relieving!
These are the BEST relief for sore and cracked nipples. I’m 8 weeks postpartum and I still use the hydrogel patches for relief from breastfeeding soreness. A must item on a baby registry.

The best for breastfeeding
These were a lifesaver. I was in so much pain but these helped so much! Worth every penny

Absolutely love these!
These 100% help with the soreness and pain of starting breastfeeding. I would definitely still suggest using a nipple balm but they help keep the inflammation down! I got these in the hospital as part of the given pp care and then bought more. I used them for a few days after every pumping session until the next session and would reapply.
