My skin feels so soft and smooth!
This body wash makes me happy. I feel like Im treating my body with the same care as I do my face. I use this in combination with the retinol lotion by the same brand. I seen a few reviews that mentioned this wash was drying their skin out and gave it a bad review. Chemical exfoliation or any type of exfoliation for that matter should be done once, maybe two, three times max per week. I use this twice a week personally. This is NOT an every day body wash. Use a gentle body wash most days. I use the retinol lotion every night. I follow up my evening routine with a vitamin c body oil. Yes, I apply lotion and then oil to my entire body. My skin feels like butter. Itsextra work but I love how soft and smooth my skin is and I know my future self with thank me. This wash has a mild minty scent. I usually products that are fragrance free due to skin sensitivity but this was the only wash I could find in my price range that had active ingredients I know are proven to exfoliate well while being gentle. This does not irritate my skin or cause me contact dermatitis. I have this on subscribe and save and will use it for years to come I imagine.

I purchased the glycolic body wash with the retinol moisturizer. I have keratosis pilaris, or something very close to it. My arms always have a little rash, even in childhood. But when I got closer to menopause, it seemed to spread all over my arms. I did some digging online and found that retinol can help. I figured it couldn’t hurt to give it a try (I mean I love it on my face!).At first I was a little hesitant to try this combo. I have dry skin and acids (glycolic, lactic, retinol, and ferulic) can be very drying. But with the way my skin was looking, I figured it couldn’t get much worse. I figured that I could rotate a more hydrating product into my routine as needed, just like you would do for your face when using chemical exfoliators like retinol and glycolic acid.After the first wash I was already impressed. I had read people complaining about the mint scent, but it’s part of the treatment. It smells nice, I didn’t find it as offensive as the reviews said. It lathers alright, but what it does for the skin is amazing. I saw a few reviews mention that it burns, but I didn’t have that experience at all, and I used it on my entire body.After my shower I used the retinol lotion on my arms. Even after the first day my KP was claming down. By the next day my rash was reduced by at least half. I really wish I would have looked for something sooner, because I’ve had this going on my whole life.Now, let’s talk about these products a little bit. I saw some confusion in the reviews about people using these products and drying out. That’s because all of the acids are exfoliating, they are meant to accelerate skin resurfacing which can cause dryness. But that’s what makes these products work (you can apply this knowledge to your facial products as well). I recommend using other mechanical exfoliators like body scrubs or a Buff Puff, then follow up with hydrating creams to balance out the acids. Also, if you’re sensitive at first, go slow. You work up to using these type of things daily. If you start flaking and peeling, back off for a few days and use a scrub or face mask to remove the dead skin, and then use a hydrating moisturizer.Overall I’m very impressed with how effective this combo has been. I just wish I had considered using the knowledge I had about my facial products to my whole body. I love that these bottles are a decent size, not too expensive, and they actually work. I highly recommend!

No le puedo poner 5 porque tiene un efecto mentolado que no me gusta lo que sufrimos de afecciones a la piel necesitamos productos adaptados a pieles sensibles y la verdad si es alguien con la piel un poco mas sensible puede que no sea su mejor opción.La otra razón el porcentaje de ácidos no es claro, según entiendo es 5% ácido glicolico pero puede que este equivocada. Sin embargo si se ve el resultado del ácido salicílico y glicolico en la piel despues de usarlo. No es muy hidratante asi que si tu piel es muy seca puede que te deje la piel tirante y tambien puede variar según suanto dejes el jabón actuar en tu piel, recomiendo que te heches loción de urea en la rutina si este es el caso.Por su precio es entendiste lo que nos ofrece y pues no es un producto muy especializado. Pero cumple su función.El ácido láctico no se ve actuar en mi piel realmente

For anyone with dry skin bumps on arms and legs, nothing works magic like Medix 5.5. In a week, you will notice a difference in your skin. No moisturizer has done as much as this Body Wash, at least for me.

I have some mixed reviews with this body wash. The bottle is sturdy and pump is well made. The smell of the body wash is quite strong but pleasant. To me it smells like tea tree/eucalyptus. Personally for me it depends on where you put the body wash. If I put it on my arms and legs it lathers up really well and by appearance seems to be a quality body wash. Unfortunately, my skin appeared really red and blotchy after using it. I tried to use it on a pumice stone on the heals of my feet and wow!!!! My feet have never been so soft!!! I wasn’t able to use it head to toe but at least I was able to use it on something.

It really smoothed my skin noticeably after the second shower it does refreshes and awakens my skin while I am showering I combine it with a soft scrubbing African shower soap and it makes wonders.
