Worth it
I’d heard mixed things about whether getting ice packs like these would be beneficial for postpartum and considered getting something reusable or DIYing ice packs. I’m sure both of those options are also great, but for me it was the right call and just so easy and convenient to have a big pack of these on hand. The cold doesn’t last super long, but was enough to give pain relief without being too cold. They’re too bulky to be out and about much, but the size worked just fine for being in bed and around the house in. I’d get these again for postpartum recovery.

Postpartum’s dream!! The Frida ones are so expensive!! While this doesn’t have the adhesive, theses worked amazing!!! If not better! Life saver!!!!

lasts longer than fridas
These are definitely way better and lasts longer than the frida ones. These are not as Ballooney like fridas either. You’re not sitting on a balloon with these, therefore you will feel the ice in closer proximity.

Nice Short Term Relief Option
These ice packs are super helpful after giving birth. I had multiple 3rd degree tears and have been in a lot of pain, these ice packs give me a little bit of time where there is some relief with the added benefit of the cold helping with the swelling. They are much easier to pop than the ones the hospital had provided me, though they don’t seem to get quite as cold. They are large and bulky, which makes them very awkward to wear because its hard to walk and sit in them, but they do absorb a decent amount of fluid and keeps it pretty contained. The downside is that they don’t stay cold very long and after the cold has worn off, you are left with a large warm bag of water in your pants…which is strange and uncomfortable. When you get them it seems like a lot, but I went through my entire box in about three days because I put on a new one every couple hours, day and night. They are also very convinent because you just pop the balloon inside and shake and the reaction inside makes it cold, meaning you can keep them in the bathroom and don’t have to run to the freezer to retrieve them. I would recommend this product to anyone who is concerned with the pain they will be dealing with after birth and will definently order them again if I ever have another baby. I might just order two boxes this time instead of the one so they will last a little longer.

Just like the one in the hospital! I ordered the other ones by Frida mom but these stay colder longer. Definitely I must buy for postpartum care.
