Perfect for little hands!
My 2-year-old granddaughter loves these beads! The colors of the different shapes are very vibrant, and they are well-made and should hold up for years to come. Until she got used to pulling the string through and holding on to it, I taped on a q-tip. Now she’s stringing like a champ, and loves reciting the colors as she does.

Fantastic toys
I gave this set to my 17month old grandson for Christmas. He loves them! The are sturdy, solid wooden pieces. The paint is deeply coated (I don’t think they will ever have paint chips coming off) and the hole in the middle is just the right size. The beading strings are sturdy with long enough good plastic ends to lace the string. There are one color of each different shape. (1 blue: square, circle, oval etc….) I think these are a great way to teach children both color and shapes at the same time. As well as helping them to develop their fine motor control skills. We sat on the floor for a long time stringing bead after bead and then emptying the lace, which sounded great on my son’s hardwood floors – lolMy daughter-in-law sent me a video of my grandson going on a walk through the house dragging his string of beads behind him noisily on those hardwood floors!! Bonus use!! (I was banned from getting a popping popcorn vacuum cleaner for him to push – hahaha)I think these beads will last for generations, they are really well made.All in all it turned out to be a great gift he truly loved and grandma snuck in way for it to be educational too. (They weren’t all that too noisy! Just right!!)

Great Toddler Activity
The product itself is well made and great for toddlers. My only complaint is it needs a top or lid to keep those rolling beads in one place. Once you open it, you’ll need something else to store them in. Why create wooden bottom of a box and not add a lid? The beads go everywhere.

We’ve had these lacing beads for a little over a year, and this is one of those simple Montessori-style toys my child always comes back to. When she was younger, she explored the shapes and practiced basic threading. Now she sorts by colors, makes little “bracelets,” and creates patterns — every age uses this set differently.The beads are smooth, bright, and easy for small hands to hold. I rotate toys at home, and every time I bring this one back, she plays with it like it’s new again.A durable, open-ended toy that’s great for fine motor skills, focus, and independent play.
