So this gift box is good in theory. The box comes with a variety of high quality items. I like that only about half the products are actually French lavender and the rest have other scents so you don’t go insane from the one smell. Everything is lovingly packaged with tissue paper and crinkle padding. It has a very homey yet luxe feel.However! My package arrived drenched in oil. I opened the package to realize that the body oil had leaked by about half the bottle, soaking everything and of course causing quite an overpowering aroma. The bottle is not wrapped or anything except for the dropper/lid. For myself this is just annoying, but I would be really upset to hear this happened to a box I sent as a gift!

There is so much packed into the beautifully packaged box. When you open the box you find everything neatly wrapped in many layers of tissue and affixed with a cute matching gift seal. Breaking it open you find all these items carefully arranged in high quality crinkle paper, it looks so pretty. The scent of the products is lovely and it wafts upward in such a pleasing way. Everything about this is very nice and makes a perfect gift for a new mom! I could not be more pleased!

This new mom gift set by Lynwood Candle Company is very sweet and has lots of gifts for a new mom to pamper herself with. There are several handmade items in the box which adds a charming touch. I love how beautiful the handmade bar of soap is. The marbling is exquisite and I’m sure will make a new mom feel special. The box includes many great items and some of my favorites were the handmade soap bar, the sugar scrub ( my hands and feet were so soft after using it), the bath bomb, and the bath salts. I will say that all though this is a lavender-scented box the lavender is not essential oil smelling lavender. It’s more lavender fragrance smelling rather than lavender essential oil. As someone who uses lavender essential oil I was caught off guard by the scent, although lovely, it was not what I was expecting for lavender. Overall this is a great box. Everything is packaged beautifully and this box can be gifted as is.
