Damaged packaging
I ordered this product twice. I’m not sure if it’s a manufacturers, mishap or if it was damaged during shipment, but both products I received were damaged upon arrival. The product box was soggy and smelled like old wet cardboard. Once I opened the package the lid had not been closed properly, like the salt granules prevented a proper seal and caused a leak or something. The salt product had also gotten onto the outside of the inner container. After opening the lid, the product was stuck together in a large clump. I want to like this product because it really does smell nice.

This is definitely a ‘special treat’ kind of item, as the whole jar is good for only two baths. I like to try new things and I enjoyed trying it, but I couldn’t justify getting another jar. ‘It’s cheaper than going to the spa’ could be one way to justify it.Don’t get me wrong it’s pleasant, and does feel different than a regular bath, but I haven’t had any experience with similar products so I don’t know how superior this is to more basic brands, to justify its price. On the other hand, a product like this isn’t just about how it feels physically, it’s the whole thing of making you feel like you’re treating yourself to a special moment. The amazing smell and the nice packaging and not wanting to waste it so you actually take the time to appreciate it.It would make a very nice gift, or be part of a gift basket. It does feel luxurious and special, and since you can use up pretty quickly it’s good for when you don’t know what to get for someone and you don’t want the gift to just become extra clutter for them, this is something that everyone can enjoy. It’s original and thoughtful and fancy and they appreciate the gesture and then it’s gone and everyone wins.
