Dupe for the real thing
I’m thankful for this brand. These are on point for quality and function. Just like the real things. And it’s so nice to be able to afford backups of pump parts to have on hand when pump efficiency drops!

Wonderful Hack for Medela PISA & Symphony!!!!
I bought these to hack both my Medela Symphony and Medela PISA pumps! I know Medela comes with those pesky membranes and such but they were just too much to deal with in my humble opinion. I grew tired of having to ensure the membranes were flat and/or not torn with use. So, after a little diligence, I discovered that the same valves for the Spectra 1 and 2 could be “hacked” to fit the system from Medela. Well, I needed more duck bill valves for an affordable price and these came to the rescue. They fit perfectly with my Medela pumps, are easy to clean, have better suction, and aren’t as fickle as the membranes. I found they were easier to draw milk from my nipples, providing the right balance of suction and comfort. For this price, my only complaint it they come with an odd number of duckbill valves rather than an even one, like 6. Overall, VERY satisfied!

Superior Suction
I’ve known for years that the two piece membrane and valve thing Medela has going on is crap. It never offered good suction the way a full duckbill valve does. For the longest time I was using Philips Avent duckbill valves which does fit into Medela personal fit bodies however they make it a bit of a task to use with narrow neck bottles. Since these valves are narrower they fit well into a narrow neck bottle and any feeding bottle adapters I use. They do offer good suction, far better than Medela two piece membranes but I don’t feel they are any better than my Avent valves. Now since they are easier to use I will continue to use them but because I also have Avent flanges I shall continue to use both valves. Duckbill vales allow for me to use a lower suction setting than I would otherwise use with out these. I am not exactly sure why they would put 5 valves in the box and not six which sort of forces us to buy two boxes to get an even number. Overall I would highly recommend any pumping mama who uses a two piece membrane to skip those and buy these duckbill valves. These are well worth the investment as they offer far better suction.Note: Duckbills offer a pumping mama using the PISA a unique sound when expressing. It sort of sounds like blowing into an empty bottle when in use with the PISA. I don’t have this problem when using these valves with closed circuit pumps.

Fit the spectra breast pump parts
Perfect for my brand name pink spectra pumps and the off brand replacement pump parts! Definitely remove them from the cups to clean as they don’t get too clean in the dishwasher. Didn’t have to replace often due to worn out really just because they got dirty and hard to clean

3 weeks in use with no problems
I’ve been using these for 3 weeks on my Freemie Hands collection cups (which I use with both my Medela PIS & my Lansinoh SP pumps), and I’m impressed with them. I was hesitant to get them after reports of loss of suction, squeeling/whisteling, etc., but I’ve had no problems. Like I said, I’ve been using them for 3 weeks, 2 times a day, and wash them in the dishwasher daily, with no issues, signs of wear, or loss of suction. I gave 4 stars simply because they can be a little tricky to attach because they have an inner & outer “gasket” (I could be using the wrong word) that attach to the cups, but this probably helps to keep them more secure.

Great replacement – No spray on the sides of the collection bottles!
This fit my Spectra S2 perfectly. What I love about this is that I get almost zero spray droplets on the side of my collection bottles. Maybe my other valves were way past their life, but they had looked fine to me – but I always felt sad washing the bottles with a million tiny droplets still clinging to the inside. With these new valves, the milk just drops straight down, and I don’t feel like I’m “wasting” as much milk. It’s a small thing, but they fit and they work better for me which I wasn’t really expecting, so I’m happy!

Nice replacements!
I love that these are compatible with multiple pumps! Personally, I think they actually work better than the original Medela symphony valves (which I tried once after using these and felt they were just so weak). I also use them for my Spectra s2, and I appreciate that not as much milk collects in the valve due to the funnel design. They are harder to take off due to the shorter stem, but they also feel more durable. I’d definitely buy these again if I need more!

Love duckbills, less parts, less time washing!
Love the duckbills much better than the valve and membrane set up that my Madela came with. One less part is never a bad thing when it comes to something you have to wash every day. The membranes lose staying power and the valves were not fun to have to put together every time. My advice would be to buy two sets of these so you end up with an even number…and of course to buy a secondary set of other pump parts so you can do the washing less often. Anyway, my only complaint is just when you dry these make sure air can flow under them or you will get mold overnight, and don’t put them on the bottle dryer stand because the posts will ensure a shorter lifespan for the valves.

Usé las válvulas para mi extractor medela y aprovechar al máximo la succión, quedan perfectos con el equipo y saco más leche en menos tiempo, sin contar que duran más que las membranas medela que sd cambian más seguido, buen producto y llegó a tiempo.

Fits a Medela harmony manual pump and aids in providing increased suction for better milk output. Much better than the valve that came as standard
