Affordable replacement for expensive filter system
We replaced a really expensive filter system from our new home with this, and we are very pleased. It took us a minute to sort out the connections—with our system you just insert the tube directly into the OUT side of the filter to the sink faucet (no adapter needed), so this is more versatile than the photos show. Hopefully, this info will save you a trip to Home Depot!

Does it job but confusing to setup because the hardware they send.
I will give this a 4 star because it is kind of confusing to hook up if I did not know what I was doing I would have been completely lost as to what to do. I did have a more complicated setup because I was hooking up an I’ve maker and a fridge to this unit. The adapter it comes with relies on you having only one size hose to the sink and fridge. If they would include one more adapter it would be a great product and have better written instructions. Also not sure where I will be able to find new cartridges when this one need to be replaced. Maybe the saller or manufacture could assist with this.

    Refrigerator water filter
It took me a while to find the correct compression fitting reducers to be able to install this filter assembly on my refrigerator, but finally a done deal! No leaks, and works as advertised. After bleeding the system in what seemed forever, filtered water made its way through and a big taste in difference. This good capacity filter assembly should last a long time.

    Filter that hard water
We’re using this NOVETE Inline Water Filter to supply fresh water to our ice maker, which doesn’t have a built-in filter. Installation was simple with the 1/4” connections, and it’s been running smoothly ever since.Living in Las Vegas, the hard water flavor is pretty noticeable, especially in ice. This filter has definitely helped reduce that harsh taste, making the ice much more pleasant to use in drinks. While it doesn’t reduce TDS (which we were aware of), it does a solid job at reducing chlorine, lead, and other unwanted stuff—exactly what we needed. If your ice maker lacks a filter and you’re in an area with tough water, this is a great, affordable way to improve water quality without overcomplicating your setup.

Easy Install, No Smell, and Hoping for the Full 12 Months
Install was quick and painless, took about an hour, everything fit perfectly, and no extra parts or frustration involved. The water was cloudy the first day, which is typical for new filters, but cleared up fast and has stayed crystal clear since.Smell? None. My wife has a radar-level sense of smell and taste, and she flagged zero issues, no weird aftertaste, no chlorine, no plasticky odor, nothing. That alone earns bonus points, because not every filter passes her test.As for longevity, it claims 12 months or 8,000 gallons. Obviously I can’t confirm that yet, but if it truly lasts a full year, that’s a solid value in my book. Time will tell, but so far, it’s doing everything it promised without making a fuss.Affordable, effective, and straightforward, can’t ask for much more from a filter install.

Easy to install under-sink non-RO water filter
This isn’t a reverse osmosis system so it does not remove dissolved solids from the water, but it does help with taste. I find that the water has very high turbidity and I’m not sure if that is OK or not. My other filters do not seem to have that. They include all the hardware, which worked for my sink, EXCEPT for a water spigot which I bought myself for around $20. installation is easy!

Comparable to popular countertop water filter
Very easy to install. The water taste so far is pretty comparable to a popular counter water filter. I initially thought I can use it as a cold water filter for the faucet but would have to buy a converter for that and would probably impede water flow. But for a standalone drinking water faucet/fridge connection, definitely works.

Pro:- Certainly helps filter water- The Filter itself doesn’t leak (the connectors to the filter)- It was fairly easy to install once I found the adapters (see below)- This is way more worth purchasing versus any “in-fridge” adapter which only lasts 6 months – don’t waste your money on those!Con:- The biggest con is that the connectors to my existing line were near impossible to find. The filter only supports the plastic tubes as in/out – and its expected to be connected directly to the fridge. However, in my case there was an existing metal waterline, and it was darn near impossible to find connectors to hook this filter up under my sink.

I noticed that they sell two variations of this, the one for the fridge and one for drinking water at the sink. The only difference being that the drinking one they throw a tap in. So I ordered a tap from Amazon and plumbed it in. This seems to filter just fine for me, I like that it is a multilayer filter in one cartridge. However, since ordering this, the replacement cartridges have been unavailable, which is a concern. These cartridges are supposed to last upwards of a year, depending upon use, but I do not want to replace the entire system. Hopefully some replacement cartridges come on the market soon as I have not been able to find a cross over cartridge or other product number.

This filter system has been a nice upgrade for my kitchen. Installation was straightforward with all the parts included, and it only took me about 20 minutes to set everything up. Once connected, the difference in taste was almost immediately apparent.Ours did not come with the little extra faucet, but luckily a few years ago we had a plumber come and do some work under the sink and he re-did all the lines and fittings and made it all so that if anyone ever needed to do anything under the sink they could do so very easily without shutting off the water for the entire house. He left it with all these nifty little shut off valves so I could isolate the kitchen faucet or the dishwasher for easy servicing. So all I had to do was isolate the cold water from the kitchen faucet and add this filter between the incoming water and the outgoing faucet. There were plenty of parts in the box, so I had all I needed. It fits neatly under the sink without taking up much space. It just hangs on the wall behind the sink – out of the way, but still easily accessible for the eventual filter change. The flow rate is good, so I can fill glasses and bottles quickly without waiting. The design feels well-made, and I like that the filter lasts for a year before needing a replacement. It’s a low-maintenance solution, which is exactly what I wanted. If you’re tired of bottled water or using pitchers that need constant refilling, this system is an easy, reliable way to get clean and fresh-tasting water at home.

I received the Novete Under Sink Water Filter through the Amazon Vine program.I can taste, and even smell, the difference of the water coming through the filter. We refill a lot of plastic bottles with tap water. We use the bottled water at a remote cabin. The problem is, that current research shows that even small amounts of chlorine react with the plastic and produce unhealthy products in the water. We are thrilled that the Novete filter eliminates most of the chlorine from our tap water. The unit came with all the fittings I needed for installation. It was relatively easy to install. I think most people should be able to install this filter themselves.Note: we did not get the unit with a faucet. Our setup remains under the sink at the moment, and we are exclusively using it to refill water bottles and the fridge water pitcher.I am tempted to have the tap water, versus the filtered water, analyzed to determine the difference in elements. If I do this in the future, I will update my review with the findings.Meanwhile, I can tell that the Novete filter is reducing chlorine, and that is important to me.
