I have to say this postpartum recovery kit is both thoughtful and comprehensive. It includes all the essential items a new mom needs after giving birth. The instant ice pads are especially helpful, providing soothing cooling relief to ease discomfort. This kit also makes an excellent gift for someone who has just given birth. All of the items are well made, and overall, I would definitely recommend it.

Well-Stocked Kit for the First Days After Birth
This is the kind of kit you don’t appreciate until you need it. The peri bottle is the MVP for those first days, and the disposable underwear is handy when you’re not up for laundry. The instant ice pads provide real relief; just know they’re bulkier than regular pads (expected). The witch-hazel liners and foam help things feel cleaner and calmer without a strong scent. I packed it as a backup to the hospital supplies and was glad I did—everything’s in one place and ready to go. Good value for a stress-free recovery starter.

Update: the underwear seems to start tearing on its own! Comparing with Fridamom underwear, this is poorly madeGreat as a gift or for yourself!! I’m currently pregnant and also a L&D and postpartum nurse, and this box has all the essentials for postpartum! I’m excited to use for myself!

Contains almost every essential item for before childbirth and during postpartum recovery.
Whether buying this for yourself or as a gift for a new mom or mom-to-be, it is almost perfect. The only thing I would change about this is to make the kit for different size gals. While the underwear is supposed to be one-size-fits-all, bigger gals like me can’t even get the stretchy underwear over my hips. As for the rest of the kit the healing foam and wipes are good for sensitive skin, the peri bottle doesn’t leak, the pads hold a lot (which they need to shortly after childbirth), the socks are super soft (and I love the anti-slip soles), and I love the comb. When I first ordered this, I thought the comb was there so mom could stay groomed during labor and beyond. It’s not, there’s a pressure point on the hand that really helps during labor and delivery. Of course, nothing will totally eliminate the pain of labor, but this did help ease it.

This postpartum comfort and healing set is beautifully gift boxed and suitable for natural deliveries. There are also specific C-section postpartum kits of a similar sort. It’s a great assortment, very big very absorbent pads, healing foam spray, special stretchy undies (supposed to be one size fits all), wipes, a set of thin gripper bottom ankle socks that are better than the ones they normally give you at the hospital, but not sure I’d describe them as “compression” socks, a clear toiletry bag printed “WASHBAG,” and there is a wood comb to hold and press the teeth into her palm during labor and birth, a natural strategy for pain management. It’s engraved with a reassuring message.I and the intended gift recipient understand her (or any woman’s) unborn baby to be her child and therefore she is a mom now during her pregnancy, certainly not only after the baby is born, so I don’t love the message of the included card referring to the recipient as a “mom to be.” Some may see this as a very conventional phrase that means no harm but I know for this recipient it would strike a sour note. You do have to lift a clear sticker that tears the surface of the gift box in order to get the box open but other than that it’s not hard to remove the card before giving it, and perhaps insert a card with your own sentiments on it!Overall, it’s a very good set.
