Great to add to your library!
This is perfect! I was looking for something with educational value that was just right for my 15 month old. It’s durable and cute and right on target with the age range. Excellent product.

Box of goodies
We loved this box of goodies . The kids played with these for months . They loved reading the books and looking at the cards . They also loved doing the puzzles over and over again . We used this for 1 year olds to 5 . The cards were great colors and the quail were wonderful. The box was made with good quality and they were durable enough for 1 year olds . The card sizes we big enough the kid should point out certain things on them .

Exactly what I thought it would be.
This was what I expected it to be. The books, puzzles and cards appear durable for my little tornado toddler. Pictures and colors are nice with age appropriate images. I like that the box is also part of the product for shape and color matching plus bonus to store the cards/books away. It’s simple in concept but not something you can just give to a 1-4 year old. It’s meant for you to engage with your child which is nice. Overall not bad for a learning “toy”.

Every toddler needs this
I have two toddlers a three year old and a one year old. They play together as the older one helps the younger with the flash cards and puzzle. They love the books and keeps them busy.

Misses the mark
There’s so much about this product that I like. I like that it teaches my granddaughter shapes and colors, basic number identification and counting, as well as a fun puzzle to put together – all in a thoughtfully laid out design. However, where it really misses the mark is the reading component. It is marketed as teacher-approved, but it must’ve been a PE teacher that approved it. As a reading specialist, I have high standards for products for early readers. I was surprised to see the use of key words with long vowel sounds instead short vowel sounds…which are the most beneficial to initially learn. I was also dumbfounded that the keyword for the letter O was “orange“. “OR” is an R controlled vowel, distorting the sound of the letter O – again, it should have been a short sound. The letter x should never have xylophone as a keyword, since that is not the sound that X makes, rather it makes the sound (ks) as in the word “box”. I realize to some readers this may seem like splitting hairs, and maybe it is had it not been advertised as teacher-approved. If we’re going to advertise it as an educational game, I feel it should live up to the standards of best practice.
