Works as expected with an unexpected bonus
I took my time with this review to verify what I experienced was really a result of these probiotics. A friend told me they had an easier time doing intermittent fasting when they took Silver Fern probiotics and sent me a video that explained how the proper bacteria in your gut can reduce sugar cravings. I bought a bottle and gave it a try. My sugar cravings decreased and I went from a 16/8 fast to 22/2 fasting without any more difficulty. This alone made the product a winner for me, as I lost 15 lbs in a month.I wasn’t paying attention and ran out before I ordered a new bottle so I ended up grabbing a bottle of probiotics at a big box store. Around 2 weeks later I noticed my sugar cravings were back and I was struggling to fast. What surprised me was that I realized my mild depression was back. It was a mellow change when it decreased so I hadn’t even realized it was gone while I was using the Silver Fern Probiotics.Since the brand of probiotics was the only change I had made I decided to experiment and ordered another bottle. Within a week of using the Silver Fern probiotics my sugar cravings had decreased and my mild depression was again gone. To verify I finished the bottle and went back to the other brand.It’s been about two weeks and my mild depressions is back. I’m lucky that it’s not bad, but it makes eating healthy and exercising harder. I’m going back to this product since it works so much better than what I got locally. I’ve done some research and there are actually doctors prescribing probiotics in place of antidepressants for mild depression. I wasn’t even thinking about depression when I took this, but I’m pleased with the surprise bonus.

Fixing My Sleep Issues
I started taking this one week ago. I’ve been feeling tired and sluggish-totally forgetting about Herxheimer reactions. But for the last 3 nights, I’ve taken a puff of my Dreamt sleep pen and have fallen asleep within half an hour and stayed asleep almost the entire night. This morning, I actually started waking up during my first alarm (an average morning can be 3-5 alarms before I can get up) and made it in early to work, which never happens on a Thursday. I’m usually so tired that I’m on the verge of being late and dragging myself in. I feel more alert and I’m able to focus. I am also tolerating food better. Maybe these could even help me reverse the weird food intolerances I’ve developed over the last 2 years and the bloating and unexplained weight gain.I know my gut has been very messed up, so I’m averaging 2-4/day. Generally 2 in the morning and 2 after dinner/before bed. The changes have been subtle, but this is the only adjustment I’ve made to my regimen in the last week. I’m definitely going to continue with these and update after I’ve had more time with them. But I’m liking them so far and am very happy with the results. I think the key with these is to be consistent. If your system is as sluggish and messed up as mine, these aren’t going to fix things overnight. You really have to give it 3-6 months to see if they’ll be effective. So that’s what I plan on doing.

Keep taking it even if it makes you feel terrible
I had been dealing with acid reflux, bloating, and heartburn and was nervous to take this product since I heard antibiotics cause more gas (they do). I decided to try it and felt terrible, absolutely terrible for several hours. My stomach and chest felt like they were on fire.Then, all of a sudden a few hours later, my severe heartburn completely WENT AWAY. I didn’t need to take my medication to sleep and slept through the night. It was magical.This is what is known as a Herxheimer reaction, also known as feeling worse before you feel better. This is a normal and healthy reaction that indicates that parasites, fungus, viruses, bacteria or other pathogens are being effectively killed off, a sign that healing is taking place in your gut.I waited a couple more days to take the next dose and it upset my stomach again briefly, but hey it’s good to cleanse. The next dose a few days later, my stomach was on fire again for about an hour. But when it’s gone, overall I just feel better. I honestly don’t believe its a placebo effect. I have been feeling horrible the past week and since taking this and watching my diet I know it has helped tremendously with whatever health issues I’m dealing with.Be warned that this is an extremely good probiotic, so start with 1 every OTHER day. If you have acid reflux or GERD, you may need to take this with gas-x.

The pandemic has really taken a toll on my eating habits and I have been in a lot of indigestion pain and have been struggling with GERD. Within two nights of taking this, I noticed a tremendous difference in my GERD and my bloating. I’m finally able to sleep through the night without handfuls of antacids. I will say I’m a 28 yr old women in decent shape and every body is different but it has worked wonders for me. Most probiotics are dead on arrival and you can tell the difference between this quality product and those. I added on their prebiotic and have been feeling much better. I just added their gut restore today and I’m getting the immunity blend and a couple others I don’t remember off the top of my head but I’m excited to try. If you’re considering, just try it. I don’t think you will regret it.

Wish this wasn’t so expensive
It’s a great product, and nothing else seems to work as well. I have been dealing with post treatment effects for a round 6 years, and I have tried lots of different strategies. So far this works the best. I do hate how expensive it is. My income is very low. I truly hate how expensive this is. But nothing else gets me as close to normal as this does, so I am kind of stuck. There ought to be a generic, a senior or disabled discount, so something to help those of us on limited incomes be able to live the best life we can.
