Love this cutting board!
This has been so great! For years we had a set of six small plastic cutting boards in a stand. You could chop a little at a time on them, and they worked fine. The plastic finally got to the point where we felt it was not safe so we recycled them. We tried some wooden boards, but found that some were too high maintenance, and others were rough on the edges and their surfaces weren’t very smooth. After reading a ton of reviews I decided on this one to replace them. Wow! We all love it! It washes up quickly and cleanly, dries quickly in the dish drainer, then goes right back in the cabinet under the island to be ready for the next time we want to use it.We only used the garlic grating patch once. A couple of days later I cut up some watermelon on the board and some of it tasted of garlic. Ooops. It’s not a big deal to not use it. We prefer to mince our garlic anyway, which we can do on the board, and the board washes cleanly. This board is bigger than the ones we used to use, but smaller than a full-sized board. It is the perfect size! I was thinking about getting a second one, but this one washes so easily that it hasn’t been necessary. My daughter and I have been known to pull it back and forth when we were both wanting to use it. LOL.It’s pretty, lightweight, easy to handle, and so far has held up well. I think it was certainly worth what we paid for it. Even though we don’t really need another one, I am probably going to buy one anyway, because I really like it and then my daughter and I can work side by side on our own boards.

Good cutting board
This is a good cutting board. Not sure if its better than plastic or wood because you still get places in the metal where you cut. Hopefully no metal gets in the food. Super easy to clean, small enough to store easily away and big enough to chop what you need.

Metal Side Scratches
I like the wheat straw side, it works beautifully as a good cutting board. However, the shiny metallic side scratches when I cut anything on it, and I’m afraid microscopic particles of the metal shavings will get into the food being chopped. So, I now only use the wheat straw side. 🙃 It is dishwasher safe, though. I suggest looking for one with the wheat straw on both sides, or just use that side only of this board.

I love love this cutting board and yes it is nonslip and multifunctional. I like that its a double sided board. I utilize the stainless steel side for cutting meats and the wheat straw side to cut veggies and my fruits. Also like the additional side for grating garlic. Honestly, this would be a great gift for anyone. Very pleased with my high quality cutting board. Highly recommend it!
