Crunch one up cats will run to you they love it .I bought a mortar and pestsal to powerize some for my cats .It is somewhat statin like and with RX statins it can cause high liver enzymes.Just when you cannot sleep take half a pill and watch your blood tests .Better than any oTC sleep aid to me .

One of the few herbal sleep supplements that work for me
I used to take standardized valerian extract to help with my sleep, but the brand I used and trusted stopped making it. I tried another major brand but found that it does not do a squat for me, even though claimed amount of valerenic acids is higher. This Swisse product seems to help me well to relax and fall asleep. I like the shape of the pills too. They are on the larger side of size but very smooth and elongated, very easy to swallow. Flavor is mild, clearly mostly valerian.

Doesn’t Always Work For Me
I cannot take anything with melatonin in it. Since my stroke, melatonin wires me. Even though this sleep aid doesn’t contain melatonin, it has something in it that can wire me, preventing me from falling asleep. The dose is two large tablets. Also, being over 60, I don’t need the extra iron. I’m not sure why iron would be in a sleeping aid anyway. I will continue to buy a different brand by the same name that works well for me.

Slept well but woke up nauseous.
I’ve only taken this two nights since it arrived. Although I slept well I woke up nauseous both mornings and actually threw up the second morning. So I’m scared to take it again.

smell from the valerian root wich is normal valerian root smells almost like cat poop.
Is a okay product Strong smell from the valerian root wich is normal valerian root smells almost like cat poop. It made me alittle sleepy but nothing crazy like is going to put you straight to sleep to some it will but in my case it dint do much

Works better for me than Melatonin
This doesn’t smell good but works for me! Usually, my sleep quality is not so good. After taking this, I feel refreshed in the morning, though a little hard to get up as usual. The tablet is BIG!
