Perfect shelves for creative spaces!
I wasn’t sure what to expect when I ordered these, but I’m really happy with them. The shelves are sturdy without being too heavy, and the design is very imaginative. The little star hooks are a nice bonus—I’ve been using them to hang small items, and they hold surprisingly well.Installation was straightforward, and the guide made it easy to line everything up properly. The cloud shape works great in a kid’s room but honestly looks good even in other spaces, so it’s versatile.Overall, these shelves add both function and personality to a room. Definitely recommend!

couldn’t get the ledges in the grooves

The following are my only complaints:-The color is such an ugly greyish beige. I should have known that from the listing photos, but I hoped they would be more white. In person, the color is distractingly ugly. But I’ve also never been a fan of “millenial grey” or “sad beige.” So someone else would probably absolutely love this color! I’m not removing any stars for this because it isn’t really different than shown in the listing photos, and it was easy enough for me to paint them white.-Be aware that the star hooks are very small and they’re hung up with double stick non removable) tape. So they’re not meant to hold anything heavy. Again, I didn’t remove any stars for this because you should notice that from the listing photos.-The smooth laminate layer was chipped in a few places.-The following is my big problem. It was basically impossible for me to insert the short ledges into the grooves at the front of the shelves. I just could not get them to go in! And this was before I even painted anything, so that can’t be the cause. It just takes too much force to get them in. I guess that’s good becuase then they won’t fall out (since they’re not nailed or glued in place). But I just gave up and threw the ledges away. I wasn’t worried about things I put on the shelves falling off anyway. So I flipped the shelves upside down before attaching to the brackets and installing on the wall so that the grooves are on the bottom.

Cute shelves but tricky installation and lack of quality control
These space themed shelves are really cute once installed, but the setup was more frustrating than expected. Be sure to put the lip in first before mounting because it took force to push them in. I struggled with trail and error using the spacers, which made the process harder than it needed to be. Definitely keep the paper template if you plan on moving the shelves later, it’s very useful. I decided not to use the stickers for the star hooks because I don’t know how well it will come off the wall later. The hooks on the stars are very small. I plan on putting the stars on a board and using bigger hooks so I can use it for coats and bags. The shelves are best for lightweight items only. It would also be helpful if the instructions listed what drill bit to use (3/16″). They do provide a QR code for an assembly youtube video. It’s called “Nursery Floating Shelves Assembly Video by Synova” and “How to Install Your Nursery Floating Shelves- Step-by-Step Guide by Synova”. The useable space on the shelves is about 4inches from wall to lip. The edges of the shelves and design pieces are not painted like the rest of the shelfs. There was paint chips in multiple spots some we could hide by turning it over but not all of them. Overall they are very cute shelves and go with the theme of my son’s room but frustrating with quality control.

Cute Neutral Design, A Little Difficult To Mount
Really like the neutral color on these shelves so that they can be placed in almost any type or color of room. The design is cute with rocket ships, a moon and a cloud which act as shelf brackets as well. There is also a small lip that can be installed near the edge of each shelf. I can see how you could probably easily paint these to a matching or different desired color pretty easily prior to hanging, if desired.There were some damaged chips on the edges of several of the decorations and stars from shipping sadly. It doesn’t ruin the shelves but now there are many little dings in them from the start. They are a little tricky to put up properly, especially if you’re working solo. The star hooks hang with adhesive, something to also be aware of.

Lovely shelves for kids room
The shelves are beautiful and the color exceeded my expectations. During setup one piece needed a little adjustment, but the seller was very quick to guide me and it worked out perfectly. Excellent support and a lovely product! My son loved these. It is also easy to install.

These shelves are extremely cute. The material looks decent, and the corners are all rounded, which is good for kids. The installation can be a bit tricky, and in my case, the lip of the shelf is a little flimsy. It doesn’t stay in place, so I would definitely recommend using some wood glue or something similar so it can’t be moved. I can imagine kids wanting to play with the lip if it wobbles. I am, however, extremely disappointed with the hooks or hangers. They’re supposed to be installed with adhesive, and I don’t really trust that adhesive to hold anything heavy or to resist being pulled off by a child. I also don’t trust that it wouldn’t damage my walls. So that’s a bummer, because I personally won’t be using these hooks unless my husband finds a way to install them with nails or screws. If you install the hooks high enough so kids can’t reach them, and you don’t hang anything too heavy, maybe it won’t be an issue. And again, it could be that the adhesive is strong enough to hold heavier things—but I really doubt it, and I’m not going to risk it. Other than that, very cute shelf.
