Shiny lip gloss not a balm
I tried this balm and honestly, it feels more like a shiny lip gloss than a thick, heavy treatment. It gives my lips a healthy look and some moisture, but it’s definitely more about the finish than deep hydration. I still like it a lot it’s a good product and will be using it.

Moisturizing Lip Balm
This lip balm works well on dry lips. The shea butter makes it very moisturizing. This is one of the better lip balms that I have tried, but the tube contains only a small amount of lip balm.

Smells and feels nice but not a balm
Price at time of review: $9.34Quality: 4/5Value: 4/5This lip “balm” smells great and has a thin silky consistency. While it’s labeled as a ‘Balm’, it is not a balm. This did not help to hydrate my lips at all. I found myself going back to my basic chap stick to help hydrate my lips after this balm failed for 3 days.

Nourishing lip balm
Hydrating and nourishing for lips. This lip balm is made of good quality ingredients. It is very easy to apply and the tube can fit easily into my purse or gym bag. I love that it is so simple, yet makes my lips look so hydrated and the scent is pleasant. I love that it has coconut oil. Some people may find this too greasy, however, I use coconut oil, especially in the winter, directly on my lips when they really need a hydration boost. This is a great ingredient to include in a product that is regularly used, as it allows you to get that boost on a regular basis, preventing them from drying out to begin with. This is a great lip balm and a great sized tube.

It’s fine
As someone who is extremely active and loves to be outdoors, I was excited to try this product from this self-proclaimed “active” skincare brand. However, I wasn’t impressed with the feel or longevity of this lip balm. I put this on before an outdoor run and immediately, it felt super greasy on my lips. I could tell it probably wouldn’t last through my workout (it didn’t). I’m also surprised to see that it doesn’t contain any SPF; for a product designed to be worn in active settings, one would think sun protection would be a priority. It smells and tastes nice, but that’s about it. I’ll be sticking to my regular drugstore SPF lip balms.

Decent balm but does come off easily and has an oily type of taste.
I’m moderately satisfied with the results from using this particular balm. The ingredient list is solid and rates without any harsh or icky ingredients from INCI. They are transparent with exactly what is in it, it’s vegan and cruelty free, and I did see results with this balm. I experience dry cracked lips all year long through winter weather and the summer heat and often use a little extra boost to keep my lips from peeling.I used this after being outside and sweating off my sunscreen. I had some peeling and cracking and soaked my lips in this balm all week. It worked decently well for me and my lips never cracked to the point of bleeding and I felt like it saved me from skin peeling, but what I noticed was that it slicks off the lips easily with any mouth movement, any type of sipping or eating, or just laying around. It gets fuzz stuck in it super easily, and if I accidentally taste it, it has a very oily taste. That’s really my gripe with it. It’s moderately expensive at $9 for the small amount when there are other hydrating products that stay put and have a better flavor so I probably won’t go back for this one.

Generously sized tube of high quality lip balm
This is a 0.27 ounce tube of lip balm, which didn’t sound like a lot of product to me, but the actual tube is really big and does contain a lot of lip balm. (The photo online shows a woman holding the tube beside her face, and this gives you a realistic picture of the large size of this tube.) It’s a lot of lip balm!The product comes out of the tube like a very thick oily, waxy gel, and a little goes a long way. It coats the lips very well and stays on the lips after application. I could not detect any taste or scent from this product.The true test of this product will come next winter when the bitter cold causes chronically chapped lips, but for now I’d say it seems like a generous quantity of a high quality product, and I am happy to have it.
