Sturdy, Cost-effective and hygienic
In my town, though the tap water is safe to drink, it is hard and has high mineral content that gives it a taste that some might find strange. The Brita products are a great help in removing the funny taste.I have used some regular Brita filter pitchers in the past, but many times it was difficult to tell when to change the filter. I often was the only user and I was not sure if a time based approach ( 2 month) worked because I was also traveling much and felt like I might not be using 40 gallons in two months.Also, in the old pitchers, I could not remove the top part (that holds the filter) to clean; after a few years, I would see deposits at the base of the container and it was difficult to clean.This pitcher addresses both these issues (replacement tracking, cleaning). I got this pitcher around 14 months ago and the indicator light still works great. As I had suspected earlier, I got the filter change indication for the first filter after more than 5 months, that suggests that I was underusing the filter in my old pitcher. Also, the top part can be removed completely and all parts can be cleaned to one’s heart’s content and I find that very helpful.Overall, a great, effective, and easy to use product, and a great value for money in the long run. It is large yet easily portable, more efficient due to the indicator light, and easy to maintain and clean; the material is strong and I do not see any cracking/chipping/scratching on the body. The two filters that came with it also added to the value.

Money savor
This product has been a huge money savor!! We are only on filter number 1 since buying it Earlier this year or late last year. We love the brand. It works for us. It is simple to use. Also it really does tell us with the light up when the filter needs changing. This is a neat feature. The filter quality is pretty good too. We have not experienced leakages. We usually fill up the pitcher twice of thrice a day… soo i believe the water fits or that it fits in the fridge. Cleaning it has also been easy peasy. No problems there. Overall, I recommend this brand and this pitcher if you’re looking for a simplistic every day use and have less than 3 people living at home.

My picture developed a crack, Britta is sending a new one.
I had some issues with this product, but Britta’s support team resolved it. My picture developed a crack yesterday, and a five minute call to their tech support. Will get me a new one. Another issue I have, which is not Britta‘s fault is that it does not remove the contaminants that I’m exposed to in my area, so I end up buying filtered water from the grocery store anyway. My experience is that Britta was pretty honest about what this product can and cannot do. I found out about my local water issues after purchasing the product. My good review is because the company really backs their stuff up, and is very good about honoring their warranties. They also do have products that will address things like PFAS and bacteria, etc.. overall, it’s been a good experience with them and Amazon.

This filter is working great for us. The filter works fairly quickly. The water seems to be well filtered and tastes good. The capacity is working fine for our household of 4 adults. Doesn’t run out, too fast. Haven’t had leaking or spilling issues. The parts seem to fit together just fine.

Works great on our highly treat d city water
We live in the southwest where the city water is highly treated and tastes bad. This pitcher took care of that problem . We keep the pitcher in the fridge and now have delicious Oder and taste free water. Pitcher is easy to use and I love the green light that shows the filter is working.

Filters water very quickly and I think the reason it’s made so lightweight or thin as some have pointed out, is because the weight of the water will make these jugs heavy enough that they probably wanted to minimize the weight aspect for the user. I’ve had no cracking or suspicions of its sturdiness so far and I’ve had it a few months.
