    True Talk: I ’m a fan.
Love this filter! Great tasting water and since I’ve read a whole lot about what this filter can do, I feel so confident about the water that it makes. You’ll buy this filter because you understand how important it is to not be drinking micro plastics and forever chemicals. You should probably know that the pitcher itself is pretty much the same as a regular Britta plastic pitcher. Nothing special. You should also probably know that it takes a while for the water to come through the genius filter. But the pitcher and speed of filter is not why you’re getting this product! My parents abominable tap water tastes great now. The water that is created by this filter is so fabulously palatable because the minerals are not filtered out and everything else is. If you are serious about really good water from a plastic pitcher… go for this. The replacement filters are about $50… but that makes sense to me. The whole point of this plastic apparatus is how well it filters. The rest is just whatever. Who needs more?I’m now gonna buy epic straw filters for the rest of my water bottles. I’m a fan.

Epic water pitcher and filters remove all the yeck from my water
Wow – I’ve been using the Epic water pitcher and filter for about two days now. I am amazed how quickly I have water that doesn’t taste over-chemicalized. I just moved into my current house, and one of the first things I noticed is how bad the water tastes. The chlorine and other chemicals were over-powering to me. I almost always cannot drink tap water no matter where I live (I think that I must have a sensitive sense of taste). I had been buying gallon jugs of distilled water for several years, but that gets really tiring. I decided to try this pitcher and filter system. With my first glass, all the “yeck” taste was gone – and I mean ALL of it. I noticed that someone had said that it took so long to filter. My pitcher filters within minutes. Try smaller amounts of water at a time. It’s so quick that I decided to only use this water for my three cats and three dogs as well as for me. I have a pitcher that I keep in the refrigerator for cold water that I created from my Epic filter system. I am very grateful that I found the Epic water pitcher and filter system. This is an excellent solution for me. I am super satisfied with this purchase.

    Great Filter, Terrible Pitcher
The lid on this pitcher is garbage. It falls off at least 50% of the time while you’re pouring (even when you follow the instructions to try to keep it from doing so … though the fact that they had to add special instructions about how to keep the lid on is a bad sign to begin with). It even falls off when you’re just putting the darn thing into the fridge!Even worse, the tiny cover on the pour spout only opens about 20% of the time. In other words, when the dang lid does stay on, the water piddles out down the side of the pitcher as much as it pours, spilling water all over. Moreover, the pop-up flap where you fill the pitcher only stays up about 20% of the time, flopping closed as you fill it.Worst. Design. Ever. Not only is it wasteful and messy, it’s bloody annoying. Brita has been making functional pitchers for their cheap, wimpy filters for years. You’d think you could get at least a basic pitcher with a quality filter like Epic. This is an $84 piece of junk. The Epic filter, however, was fantastic. My water was not just potable, it actually tasted great! I’ll look into the other pitcher design. Maybe it’s better?

Perfect & easy to use PFAS removal (100% from EWG)
Perfect! 👌 I recently read about PFAS and how damaging it can be from our drinking water so I did research on EWG about pictures that eliminate 100% of this for me and my two year-old. I was nervous because of other reviews, but in my experience it filters pretty darn quickly and has a great water capacity for someone who drinks at least 240 ounce Stanley cups of water, just myself in a day.I was deciding between THIS and a Berkey and went with this just because having cold water is great.I’m buying one for my mom and her 80s now and I’ll just let her know that it does get a little heavy if you feel it too much so that’s my only word of caution for anyone who might have trouble lifting heavy things. It gives me such peace of mind to know that my tea my water and my food are free from toxic chemicals

    Slow but steady
I bought this water filter pitcher after doing some research on what would be a reasonable compromise on filtering and maintenance. It removes PFAS and the new filters are easier to setup than competitors. It also doesn’t remove beneficial solutes like magnesium. The flip-top lid makes filling the water reservoir easy although unfiltered water will dribble out if the reservoir is more than halfway full in my experience. It’s durable. Filters last about 2-3 months for me. The filtering can get slow halfway through. The company offers a recycling program – mail back 5 used filters and get 1 free.Tip: if the filter is slow because it’s nearing replacement time or if you’re impatient, you can set the reservoir on the filter perpendicular (pictured) and the gravity and increased water pressure will make it filter faster

    Very Satisfied
The water tastes great. It is easy to use. The water filters quickly and is ready within 10 minutes. The sturdy wood handle makes getting it in and out of the refrigerator easy. Very satisfied.

My priority is to eliminate fluoride as well as chlorine and many other nasties, so Brita and other cheap filters are off the list. I first bought Fill2Pure from Amazon which ticked all the boxes nicely, but no sooner had I bought it, the replacement filters became unavailable in the UK. Then I moved on to ZeroWater which I didn’t like on many levels. Water tasted strangely flat, filters didn’t last long and you are advised to test water every couple of days (with a device that was faulty on mine) – big effort in any event, and ZeroWater weren’t overly helpful sorting the issue out. Filters were expensive and short lived – the water tastes of rotten fish after a few weeks. Also I didn’t like the fact that it removes many essential minerals from the water that are beneficial and not harmful. So I just bought the Epic Pure Water Filter jug and it seems the best yet by far. Water tastes great, easy to fill – just have to open little opening on top, not remove whole lid, pours well and takes moments (not hours as some reviews suggest) for water to filter through and (apparently and hopefully) removes fluoride, chlorine and numerous other vileness that Brita and other cheapies can’t, but not the good health enhancing minerals. I understand this will mean your kettle still scales up, but a small price to pay, and not the main issue for me personally. If you’re going to filter your water for your health you may as well do it properly in my opinion. I’ve only had the Epic for a few days, but I like the fact that apparently the water just starts to flow through slower when filter needs replacing (rather than flowing through merrily, needing testing every couple of days and then tasting of rotten fish). And although filters are expensive, if they last 3/4 months, money well spent I feel. There is a 90 day filter replacement warning device incorporated but hoping the slowing trickle will alert me sufficiently. As long as the filters remain available, so far the Epic knocks spots off the others in my view.

Unlike other filters on the market, this one actually removes harmful additives and other substances from the water, and the company is very transparent about how they do it. I am very picky with the taste of water (I care a lot about my health), so I can state that with this filter, water tastes great! No more metal or chemical aftertaste!

The replacement filters are expensive and often out of stock, but this is without doubt the best water filter jug I’ve ever had. I now have three, as I’ve had to purchase a new jug when filters are either not available or almost as expensive as a new jug complete with filter.

This is a great product the main reason I picked it was it did not need electricity to power it and it removed ALL the baddies. I though it may be small for a family of 6 but is very efficient and quick in filtering. A really great product did a water test on family and friends all could pick the filtered water and most commented that the water tasted lighter. The only draw back is every now and then the top when pouring will fall off but if you remember to put your hand there, no problem. Would definitely recommend if looking for a filtration system that is not installed this is it.
