Easy for Toddlers to Use
I’m reviewing Haakaa Hippo Wide Opening Silicone Goody Pouches, Reusable Baby Food Pouches, Wide Neck for Quick & Clean Filling of Homemade Snacks, 9oz, 2 Pack, 6m+ (Grey).These squeeze pouches are so much easier for our toddler grandchildren to use. They’re made of soft silicone and easy to grasp. There’s a straw that goes to the bottom of the pouch, so they can sip the contents without needing to tip the container.I will note that I use these for thick foods like yogurt and applesauce. Liquid consistency foods could potentially leak and be more messy. I found them to be easy to clean between uses.These pouches are made of quality silicone and look to be well made and durable.The opening is ample, but not as large as the side zipped pouches, so they’re a little more fussy to fill, but easier to close securely. I have a large mouth funnel makes it easier to fill them. There’s no reduction in my star rating since the description photos were clear on the set up for these pouches.I feel better about filling my own pouches to control the food quality and cost. There’s also less waste going to the landfill vs buying premade pouches.At the current price of $24.99, that comes out to $12.50 each which I find to be a reasonable value.As a side note, these Haakaa Hippo Wide Opening Silicone Goody Pouches are made in China.

These are easy to clean given the size! Really happy with the thickness and quality of them. They leak a bit when squeezed so be careful of that.

Works Great
We have already bought a lot of haakaa products before this one, so maybe we are biased. But these sip pouches are great for the purees we make at home from blended up veggies and fruits. Also great for smoothies. These are really easy to fill up, unlike some other reusable pouches I bought before that had the smallest of openings for you to pour stuff into that it was painful to do. And everything is really easy to clean up when done too. And not that it adds anything to the functionality, but I kind of like this dark green look to it. Overall, well worth the money. Highly recommend.

Huge!
These Haakaa Hippo pouches are super cute and really well made! The silicone feels sturdy, and the wide opening makes them so easy to fill and clean — no mess, which is a win. The only thing is… they’re huge! Each one holds way more than my 5-year-old could ever eat in one sitting. Great if you’ve got an older kid or want to store smoothies, but definitely oversized for a quick snack. Still, they’re super handy and I love that they’re reusable

Efficient, great for transitions w longterm use
I feel torn. They are amazing in shape, how wide the top is to pour in liquid, how easy it is for her to use it. And yet she now squirts/squeezed it everywhere and when it gets low in liquid it can be a bit tricky initially to get the rest. Still, it’s been a lovely buy for longterm use. I love how soft the texture is. Very soon she will be able to talk more clearly and express an opinion on these herself 🙂

easy feeding win
These Haakaa hippo pouches are such a clever idea. The wide opening and included straws makes them super easy to fill. I’m excited to try and make some homemade purees or yogurt to put in them but so far it’s been easy to fill them with apple sauce and smoothies. Cleanup is way simpler some other traditional reusable pouches I’ve tried because this one is so big and has a wide spout. I like that they’re sturdy but still soft enough for little hands to squeeze. I can already tell these will save us from a ton of single-use pouches while still being really convenient for on-the-go. Definitely a practical, eco-friendly win.
