Works fine
These don’t get super cold, which is a good thing. I tried one on my head for a headache and it lasted for a solid 20 minutes. I also took the temperature of the ice pack straight out of the freezer and then 25 minutes later. It starts out below freezing at 21 degrees F, then goes to 43.5, or refrigerator-level, after 25 minutes. It will obviously get warmer faster with body heat, but that should give an idea of how long this lasts and how cold it will get.It’s nice to have two available, and the covers washed up fine. It’s a niche product and a little pricey, but I can see using this for smaller injuries on other parts of the body, so I’d say it’s a good value for the money and something that can be kept for a while.

Soft and cold and very good for their purpose
The ice packs contain a gel, not just water, so even when they are fully frozen they don’t get rock hard. They stay flexible and moldable so I can position them where I need them without having to wait until they have defrosted a little. I don’t think they feel like they get a cold as pure ice, but they are cold enough to sooth an inflamed area for 10-20 minutes. Any longer could cause tissue damage, especially in a delicate area. It takes about 2 hours to get frozen again and that is how long I’m supposed to wait before using them again, so it all works out.The box says that the ice packs have PE Nylon and PTFE-coated Nylon over the Mylar and proprietary gel formula. The nylon fabric is easy to wash off in the sink if it gets any fluids on it. The pink covers are exactly the right size and shape to fit around ice packs. They are made from 70% bamboo and 30% cotton, and they are very soft. There are 4 covers and 2 ice packs. The covers are more likely to get fluids on them than the ice packs and I launder them in the washing machine, so I like that there are extra covers to use while the others are in the wash. The only thing I don’t like is the rough edges of the ice packs. They look like they were cut by hand with scissors that were not sharp enough. I carefully trimmed them with my own scissors and now they feel better.

The shape is awesome great, it makes them super versatile for whatever hurts, whether it’s your neck, back, or legs. I like how soft the covers are it’s so much better than sticking straight plastic on your skin, and they don’t slide all over the place.They don’t freeze up like other packs, they just get really cold. And they do hold their chill for while. They’re surprisingly lightweight but still totally effective, which is a win. Plus, they seem really durable, fold up easily for storage, and you get multiple packs in the set, so they’re just super convenient to have around.All in all, I’ve already used them a bunch for recovery and just chilling out. I highly recommend this set!

The cold packs freeze quickly and hold their chill. They’re a great size for the neck, back, or legs. I like how lightweight they are while still being effective. Comfortable and easy to use
A nice set of ice packs and a great value for the price. Comfortable to use and comes with four pouches. The extra pouches are nice for when you need to wash the other set. The rectangular shape of the ice packs are convenient since you can use your waistband to hold them in place.
