For over 35 years, PUR has been at the forefront of water filtration, dedicated to providing everyone with cleaner, better-tasting drinking water. The expertly engineered water dispensers and pitchers transform your tap water at home by removing chemical and physical substances, including Lead. Notably, PUR was the first to assist Flint during their Lead water crisis, showcasing their commitment to clean water for all. With the PUR PLUS large water filter dispenser, enjoy great-tasting water every day. The 30-cup counter top and fridge water dispenser serves the whole household, with each filter lasting up to 40 gallons or 2 months of use. The filter indicator light ensures you know when it’s time for a replacement, while the LockFitTM design prevents mixing of unfiltered and filtered water. Why Choose A PUR Plus Lead Reducing Pitcher Filter? PUR’s advanced 3-in-1 water filtration technology combines granulated activated carbon, ion exchange materials, and advanced pleated paper to reduce three times more chemical and physical substances* than Brita’s leading pitcher filter**. Certified by WQA for Lead reduction and NSF for microplastic reduction*, PUR reformulated its Lead water filters after seeing real-world Lead scenarios in Flint and Newark. With an easy installation process, convenient pull-down spout for easy pouring, sturdy handle for effortless refilling & a slim design that fits in the fridge, this large water dispenser really is PUR bliss. Disclaimers * See Product Data Sheet for what this filter reduces. ** Versus best-selling Brita® pitcher filter OB03. Brita® is a trademark of Brita LP. *** Based on comparing a year’s worth of bottled water (16.9 oz) to a PUR system and 5 filters.

    PUR Magic!
This is my go-to water filter dispenser and I’ve purchased multiple over the years. I love how much volume it holds as I consume about 3 to 4 gallons of water a day. I also appreciate how narrow this dispenser is. Please ensure that you have removable shelving in your refrigerator as mine has limited options and I’ve had to get rid of one entire shelf to fit this unit which is somewhat disappointing. There is no smell, or taste to the water and the quality is always top notch. I appreciate that you can purchase compatible generic replacement filters if you’re on a budget and not have to urchase the PUR brand.

    Yummy water
Works really well! The filter does well at removing the weird taste and it overall makes the water better. Easy to fill up and no leakage so far!

    GREAT buy
With the water never being consistent and having weird taste THIS IS A MUST! I don’t love how big it is but it does the great job and holds a lot of water. Better for the money than other brands. Filter has tiny specks but WORKS GREAT

Hot garbage – broke completely after 1 year
I used to have the competing Brita filter of the same style. That one had lasted me a few years before the button on the top for the filter replacement LED broke. That button was poorly designed and I also didn’t love how the lid didn’t seal the thing at all so carrying it from the sink to fridge was a tedious process and difficult to do without some water splashing out the sides. So after seeing this filter in a friend’s fridge, I thought I’d get one to replace my Brita. I liked that it had the replacement reminder LED integrated on the spout handle and it had a larger capacity as well. That’s where the good things I have to say end. The lid design is only marginally better than the Brita – carrying it was still a tedious task that always had some water spill out. The longer shape certainly makes this happen more easily b/c the water can shift so much.Fast forward exactly one year and the button started to malfunction: I thought the battery had died because it wouldn’t light up. So I held the button down for several seconds—as the manual instructs—to reset the light (this also resets the filter tracking which I didn’t like as a solution because now it would be off and basically useless for it’s only job for this filter since the filter had a couple months of use already). The light worked for a bit and then stopped again. Same process, same result. Whatever I figured I’d just keep track manually with the stickers they give you. But then not more than a couple weeks later, THE WHOLE SPOUT HANDLE SNAPPED RIGHT OFF! Now the thing is completely useless. Looking at the pieces and how they were connected, I can see how poorly designed it is. Very small hard plastic connection, so of course it broke easily.I ended up going to Walmart and getting the competing ZEROWATER fridge filter this time and after just a few days, I can absolutely recommend it over the Brita and the Pür filters! It comes with a water particulate tester that actually tells you in real time how the filter is performing (at least on the particle metric). Tested my tap water (128PPM) and then tested the filtered water (0PPM). The tester plugs into the spout so it can test the water at any time when you dispense it. So you know for sure when it’s time to replace when the PPM gets too high (apparently they recommended replacing at 6PPM). The ZEROWATER also quite a larger capacity despite being similar in size. And finally someone figured out how it design a chamber and lid that prevents the water from splashing out when you carry it!! 👏 I also am pleased to see the spout handle on the ZEROWATER utilizes a two-piece design that looks to me like it’ll be more durable.Bottom line: the Pür filter kinda sucks and my unit was a completell lemon! I don’t recommend it, but do recommend ZEROWATER over this thing for the reasons stated above. Advice from someone who’s now tried all three big players in this product segment.

    Made it to a year
Lasted a year before spigot started leaking. Very disappointing that PUR does not have replacement parts. Very environmentally irresponsible.

Big Capacity, Tasty Water, Slightly Slow
We’ve been using the PUR 30‑cup water filter dispenser in our household for several weeks, and it’s been a reliable addition—especially for large families or shared spaces.✅ What I LoveMassive 30‑cup capacityHolds an impressive volume, perfect for kitchens and offices—fills once and provides clean water all dayGreat taste & contaminant reductionThe filter significantly reduces chlorine, lead, mercury, microplastics, and more—users consistently praise the crisp, clean flavorSlim, fridge-friendly designThin profile fits neatly in most fridge doors and kitchen counters without taking up too much spaceConvenient dispensingFeatures a pull-down spout and fixed-handle spigot—no heavy lifting, and you can pour while it’s still filteringFilter-life indicatorDishwasher-safe partsMost components are dishwasher-safe (except the base reservoir), making cleaning a breeze⚠️ Things to ConsiderSlow filtration rateGravity-fed filtering takes time—half a reservoir can take ~30 minutes, and a full one may exceed an hour. Best to refill proactivelyBasic designWhile functional, its utilitarian look may not match more decorative kitchen gear—though there’s a Premium “Beautiful by PUR” version for aestheticsTight lid can crackSome users reported crack issues during transit or use—inspect upon arrival and contact Amazon for a replacement if needed📌 Bottom LineIf you want large‑capacity filtered water, with excellent taste, easy pouring, and fridge-friendly design, the PUR 30‑cup dispenser delivers. Just remember to refill ahead of time since it filters slowly. With proper handling, it’s a dependable, cost-effective alternative to bottled water—earning a solid 4 out of 5 stars.

The water started leaking after 2 months of use. It was good while it lasted but I was hoping it would last longer than 2 months.

I had this brand filter in my other apartment but I movedcouldn’t installed directly from the tap in my other apartment, so I decided to buy that kind of filter, after reading some bad reviews I decided to buy another filter (popular) and I was disappointed, so I returned, so I got Pur and I am satisfied, it would take some time to filter but trust me, the water will taste good
