Super quiet
I usually don’t take the time to write reviews, but this air purifier is a game-changer. My sleep quality has gotten better, ive noticed less odors in the home. It immediately improved my home’s air quality, drastically reducing dust and allergens. The unit is surprisingly quiet and easy to operate, extremely light weight and compact that you can place it anywhere. I noticed a difference in just a few hours. This is a five-star investment for cleaner, healthier living.

Great for the price
Well it has a air condioner sound. Not quiet. I am using for a week now and I must say it has improved the air quality. The only feature I do not like is that you have to turn it every 8 hours, it turns off automatically..For the price I highly recommend it, but if you could afford the bigger one, which it which is about $250.00 dollars more go for it.This is just fine works for for the price. Does do its job!

PUROAIR 400 air purifierI bought the PUROAIR air purifier bundle, 1 400 model cleans 2000sq feet in 1 hour and 2 model 240’s that clean 1000 sq feet in 1 hour.My home is 3 stories counting half finished basement, we live in the country, burn wood, have 2 dogs, farm fields dust and road dust.I needed something to help with dust, allergens, pet dander and anything else floating around I cannot see.This 400 model cleans 99.9% of the air of any of those pollutants.So far, my house smells cleaner, dog odor is gone, dust is way less and within 1 hour my daughter commented the air smells cleaner and fresher.So I am sold, cannot wait to see the difference in the winter with the house all closed up with wood furnace running!!Great product and I wanted one for a while now, I noticed the difference at my daughter’s house who is using these.Noise level is less than a box fan, actually pretty quiet on 1st and 2nd fan setting, weight is 14.73lbs for the bigger 400 model. It has a timer, child lock, an automatic setting and an indicator how bad or good your air is as it runs. Make sure you remove the tape to open filter door and plastic off filter before use.Now my only complaint, the area/fins to suck in the bad house air is on the back and you have to set it out and away from walls/items. I turned mine backwards so it has plenty of room to suck in the air. Good cleaned air comes out the top. Now…. I know the designer wanted a pretty, sharp, clean designed front for cosmetic home look…. But I would rather have it more functional and easier to place in my home and work great. Rather than be pretty and hard to locate an ideal working space. My only complaint! Yeah, I know a Woman seldomly only has 1 complaint… wink!The 240 models suction air around the unit and are smaller, lighter and quiet.

Honest review, average home, 3.5 stars, close
Great air purifier, easy to use and the best ones I’ve owned. They sense dust and other contaminants in air very quickly and auto adjust to clean air. Noise is manageable, not overly loud.Now I’d probably give this a 5star on most days because I have 2 of them and they have worked great.However, the air filters are a bit pricey, but that’s ok because they work great. Also, the purifier can be a pain to clean occasionally as well. You have to clean back panel, and most importantly the sensor vent up near the top right backside of the unit or it will constantly read poor air quality and constantly run on high mode. Just use a vacuum and this mostly cleans that area.So the one serious ding I’m hitting this with is durability.Bought in Feb 2024, now Sept 2025 and I have to replace it. The fan inside has started making squeaky noises, meaning it’s going out. Opened filter area to access fan, but it is impossible to reach without tearing the front off the machine. The fan is molded into the purifier, so no good for service.So with normal use I got 19 months out of it before it has started to break down.Don’t get me wrong here though, I’m going to buy another one, but here is a legit update on durability.I’m just an average guy, average house and average family. So nothing crazy the machine couldn’t handle. Solid unit, really should be a 3 1/2 star rating.Best Wishes

I have it in a very small bedroom but I do have three large dogs, a German Shepherd, a doodle and a golden retriever and within 2 weeks you could tell the filter is full of dirt. Not sure if it’d be effective in my living room given that in my bedroom it’s filled up the filter so quickly.

Worked well to start with then kept cutting out, contacted suppliers but wouldn’t refund as I am in the UK.contacted Amazon and they refunded me

The product is lightweight cheap plastic. The company ship to the UK yet the device requires a voltage step-down unit to cope with the 110V rated USA device. Company either dumb or dishonest. Factor in additional £50-100 for device to step down UK 240V. So far not seen source for replacement HEPA filters on Amazon either.
