Large capacity and great value
This water filter pitcher has a big capacity and looks really nice. It feels sturdy and well-made. I like it a lot, and the price is cheaper than buying one from Target or Costco. Really good value for the quality.

The dispenser to put tap water malfunctions
Nice looking pitcher, water taste great, edit: but the biggest issue is the spout where you’re supposed to put tap water will not open unless the water is warm/hot. So when you hold the pitcher under the faucet water, the water has to be warm then once the pitcher top opens then you can switch to cold water. If you don’t do that then the pitcher top won’t open and the water will just pour all over the pitchers exterior.

Buyer Beware
The description accompanying this item says, “WE TAKE YOUR WATER VERY SERIOUSLY – This advanced and reusable water pitcher is designed to be used with the Nakii filter. The Nakii filter uses Japan developed activated carbon fiber (ACF) to adsorb the contaminates in your water. ACF adsorption has been proven to be 10-12 times better than other carbon filters! This means that more contaminates will be eliminated from your water to protect you and your family’s health.” It also claims to “reduce hardness and limescale in your water.” I can tell you it does not come anywhere near to performing as claimed. I purchased it because I recently bought a humidifier and tried using tap water which produced something called white dust which comes from hard water. I switched to distilled water which solved the issue but after doing research, I came across this water filter pitcher which claims to take away the hard water. I did the math and decided it was more economical than buying 1 1/2 gallons of distilled water each day. After the first 6 hours of using water filtered through this pitcher, I noticed white dust forming again, which I dismissed and decided to keep using the filtered water. Against my better judgment I filtered my water through the Nakii for four more days, when I started noticing that the white dust was not only on the surfaces of the immediate area of the humidifier, but EVERYWHERE in my home on BOTH floors. There was white dust on the items inside closed drawers, on and underneath literally everything, and even heavily embedded on the rubberized gaskets around the inside of the refrigerator and freezer drawers. This pitcher not only did not do what it claimed but it was worse than the water straight out of the tap! I can’t return it because I stupidly threw out the box so I am stuck having paid for an item that I wouldn’t filter water for the ferule cats outside. If I had the option of giving this less than one star I would give it a -1 for doing the opposite of what it claims.

This is a really nice looking water filter and it does the job! Great tasting water. It filters really quickly which is nice because I can just turn the tap on low and walk away for a minute or two. It also holds a lot of water and manages to fit in my small apartment sized fridge without taking up too much room.

I want to like this water filter – it looks great and filters fast. But the refill flap is only convenient when it actually opens; if it’s a little wet, it stays closed and water flows all over the top of the lid.It’s impossible to continue using because I cannot buy replacement filters in Australia. The company cancels the order with no explanation, so the whole thing is useless.
