Reliable water purification
While I primarily rely on the convenience of my Sawyer Squeeze for trail drinking water, these tablets are an essential emergency backup if the Sawyer goes down.Additionally, when preparing bulk water for camping use, the time it takes the pill to work is often faster than trying to squeeze that much water through the Sawyer filter, and I can be doing other camp prep while the water is getting sterilized.So the tabs are great for sterilizing bulk shower and kitchen cleaning water, foot soaking hot water, etc.There is essentially zero weight or volume penalty for packing these, so it is just good sense.

Working Fine
Been using these on my last 2 backpacking trips. No ill effects. Typically use one tablet per liter as I’m not sure how to assess appropriate dosage for the volume range the product says it treats. My only gripe is their small size. If you drop one… Good luck in finding it.

Great way to know your water is safe .
Handi when setting up water storage. You know your water is safe, because you went beyond, just filling your container with water. I will still purify when ready to use the water.

I prefer these since the wait time is only 30 mins instead of 4 hours. Just wished they were packaged in foil but instead it’s almost like a paper material. If they get wet that will be a problem. I may seal mine in a small mylar pouch to keep them dry incase my pack is dropped in water. And mine are really fresh with a 2030 expiration which is almost 5 years from now time of this review.

Preppers kit requirement
Used these several times before. I have tried other options, but trust these the most. Couple them with a lifestraw and you’re pretty much covered. Always keep some liquid IV or water flavoring to help. If it were ever a lie or death situation, hopefully never, these will be a necessity. Always keep them in a go bag and at home.
