Good replacements for my APEC ROES-50
I have an APEC ROES-50 system and I seen these available for much cheaper than the APEC filter and the reviews were good. I can say that it worked for my system. My tds reading dropped from 13 to 6 after changing this membrane which is where it usually reads after the APEC membrane is changed. Cheaper alternative and works with the APEC system.

Solid 6 months of pure water
This is a reliable, inexpensive filter but here’s something to save frustration with the whole system if you don’t get water flow:For a while I couldn’t figure out why the Express Water spigot flowed very little and the tank wouldn’t fill with water. Process of elimination brought me to the air valve at the bottom of the tank. Could there be so much pressure that it prevented water from filling the tank? I bled the air out and immediately the tank began to fill and later, spigot water flow increased but was sub-optimal. Looking at an online manual for the tank I read that you should not mess with the air pressure but nothing about an over-pressurized tank. It said the pressure should be 7-10 psi. Judging from the air I released the tank had to be at 30+ psi. I used an air pump to pressurize the tank to the correct psi and spigot water flow looked just like in the videos! Mission accomplished!

Product came in a nice sealed package, with a box! Not the OEM one that originally came with my coralife RO system! CME was the original, but for the price think this was a way better buy! Only time will tell! Fit in the houseing perfect! Hope that helped!Update, I have had it 4 months, and my ppm are going up so I know it needs to be replaced, which is making me go threw a lot of DI resin which is not cheap as well! Thought it would last a little longer, since the original lasted about 2 years! Catch 22 buy these 2/3 times a year or spend 100$ and get the real deal!

I bought a reverse osmosis system from express water and it’s been such a great buy, I recently ordered an ROM membrane and I accidentally ordered the wrong membrane, I contacted express water and they replied so quick and where very happy to help, they solved my concerns and sent me a replacement quick and easy, it’s a great product and they are happy to help with any concerns,100% recommend their products and in case anyone is interested look in to their reverse osmosis systems, I bought one that was only 280 and had a 3 year filter supply if you do find it, I would recommend buy the pump to go along with the system to improve water flow and to improve filtration, it will help get the most out of the reverse osmosis system.

Great product, great value! Easy to install
Got this to replace my older model GE reverse osmosis system. It had been at least three years since the membrane or filters were replaced. I was surprised how simple it was to install. I followed the manufacturer’s directions for disinfecting the system before replacing both carbon filters and the membrane. The whole process took about an hour and it’s helpful to have two people, but not necessary. The long part is letting the bleach water flow through the system and also letting water flow for 20 min after replacing everything. You won’t get a good EC reading until after you’ve let the tank fill completely and then drain the water through at least a few times once you’ve installed the new membrane. After that, my EC reading went down to 15ppm, compared to the tap water of 137ppm! I’m impressed! Much cheaper than the GE version.

I dont think that the reviewers understand that the longevity of these filters is obviously dependent on water quality. The membrane itself is great quality and actually has quite a lot of potential to remove contaminants from the water for an extended period of time. I had to change mine after about 2 months which significantly changed the quality of the filter water. I dont mind changing these filters often, as it’s still better than regular tap or bottled water..

Does the job except that I can seem to fill my tank To the max. Previous filter gave 3 gallons. This one gives me 2.25 gallons.Still gives 0 ppm water.
